Watching Dallas and the Giants and the Giants have a bunch of pretty decent players on offense, I didn't realize how different this team is

It's like they force themselves to let the analytics run the game, take the coaches out and let AI run it then

Its like in baseball where a lot of teams dont let a starter face a lineup the 3rd time in a game, I dont always agree with it, but the front office are their bosses and really you kind of deserve to come up short if you cant come up with a play to get 1 yard,

The funniest was the Browns being down 31 and kicking a fg from the 8. That made no sense

Didn't want to get shutout.😀

Craig what I can’t believe is his injury happened because his cleats got stuck in the turf.
Imagine this scenario….. its 2025, you’ve got a franchise QB who is earning a billion or so per year, and you trot him out in shoes with these huge cleats in which if he takes one misplaced step can get stuck in the turf. Hasn’t cleat technology advanced enough from 100 years ago to prevent this from happening. It’s ridiculous, a pair of $200 shoes can cause an injury like that. Isn’t it enough that you have 350 lb. linemen coming after you with bad intent.
I know the player usually wears a shoe which he can plant and not slip but a shoe with cleats like Patrick was wearing shouldn’t be an option. I saw a picture of them the cleats are huge.

It's too bad the players union can't fight for all grass fields, I wonder how many of them would prefer grass over turf?

Skill position players or at least some of them probably prefer the turf because they are faster on it idk

The owners I'm sure prefer turf because it's cheaper I'm guessing and it's far less upkeep

I feel like there were a lot less injuries back when artificial turf was a parking lot with cutouts for a pitchers mound and bases. A single with a bit of heat turned into an inside the park home run in baseball and in football was probably the reason players were padded from toe to helmet unlike the near basket ball unis many have now haha. There was no such thing as a shoe getting caught in the turf because that stuff could only be compromised by a jackhammer.

I think concussions are probably the same my friend. They just weren't classified as such back in the day except for the worst of cases.

Fair point, so many undocumented concussions back in the day it's impossible to tell which was worse

This was definitely the turning point of the game

I think it was the next drive where the Packers had them stopped on 3rd and there was a mysterious roughing the passer call followed by 3 more gifts to keep the ball moving.

For what it's worth I picked the Vikings to win that game, but that series was ridiculously bad. The refs took over the game.

I said this before and I'll say it again, Kenneth Walker was striking gold for the Chiefs, this is without question the best RB Mahomes has ever had helping him out

as great as walker looked last night, I wonder if he can hold up under that kind of a workload? i checked out his stats and other than his injury season, he averages about 220 attempts/season. at 23 carries per game like last night he would be at 397 carries through the regular season. it looks like they gave him a break with the backup RB, but his production was junk.

a positive would be that it seems walker doesnt have a ton of miles on his legs so far in his career.

Bo Nix will fool us with some great games but overall he is not that good imo

Same thing he did at Auburn. One play looks like a HOF QB then hell do stuff where its like how are you on the field
