@ambro51 - though some would likely find the surfaces on that Montreal Bank Token to have “environmental damage”, I actually like the look, with that black-and-brown contrast. It’s a copper CircCam!
Handsome piece, though it probably would never straight-grade at a TPG. (Not that anyone would ever bother trying that anyway.)

That coin, and I do so regret it, I swiped from another kid collector when I was about 12. I think he knew I took it. If I could now, I’d return it, with apologies. Unfortunately he didn’t make it through the Vietnam war. RIP Danny

I'm assuming that's a 19th century medal, though the date on it says "1444". Since very few of us (except maybe @tibor) are likely to have a coin that is actually dated 1444, I will play from 1844, the likely date of the Swiss medal above.

Used to be mine. I had this in an old small ANACS AU50 “soapbar” holder. I think it was undergraded, and deserving of a 58 by modern standards (or 55 at the very least). The coin was semi-prooflike under the light.

1847 or Liberia, next. This is the onetime top-pop 1847 Liberian cent (PR65 BN), in an animation @Ronsanderson did for me, years ago. I wish I still owned the coin.

This is my favorite too. If you still had it I would try to buy it from you. I love the early steamship, and if you look closely the waves are moving. And, my technique has improved so I would love to photograph it again.
Yep, the shift from 1847 Seated Lib to 1929 Standing Lib was a misplay, and out of bounds. Back to Seated quarters. This is a different subtype of Seated quarter than the 1847 above which was the last valid play, but at least it’s the same basic type.
Modest grade here, but it’s as nice a black-and-white CircCam as I’ve seen. It also cost me nothing (gift from a generous friend, already in the slab).
