They said they will be a lecture tomorrow on the 1933s with presentations by the chief consul and that the interactor will be handing outside cards with images. I think it’s probably one of the most beautiful coins the USMint has put out in a long time. 15,000 may be a lot to most members here, but when you consider how many that actually is, it’s a pretty small number in my opinion. My guess is when more people see the beauty of this coin and the accompanying medal, they will be a lot more popular than many here think. We shall see. Good luck to those who want one…😉
The waiting room kept me out for one or two minutes after 12:00 PM. I managed to purchase one but the web site had a snafu where the Review Order button didn't work after I first clicked it without entering the cardholder verification code. I ended up having to reload the page, enter the CVC, and then click Review Order button before it worked. I was worried that there was going to be a nasty surprise with bots taking up all inventory but I managed to get one.
