I am shocked by the weakness of the eagle's breast. What is up with that?
My guess is that the detail on the eagle’s breast is fine but that there’s a scuff on the holder in that area.

Retiring at 55, what day is today?

I’m in the 65+ camp
65+ even though it's not in the + generation holder

MS65 is my guess, always a bit tough with pictures. Likely a 5+ today from the looks of it.
Impossible to tell with these photos, since so much of the grade of a mint state Morgan is determining how much there is in the way of contact marks on the obverse, and this photo doesn't work for that.
I suspect it is mint state, but it could be anywhere from AU58 up to MS66 (and anywhere in between).
What do you think the first G in GTG stands for?

MS66 obverse.
Reverse grades a tad lower.
So MS65.
What do you think "impossible to tell" means?
Need a luster shot. Photos make the lust look a bit muted. Based on that I will say 64.

The 1903 Morgan is a well above product out of the Philly Mint with a decent surviving population in MS65 and higher grades. Although PL to DMPL are tough, there are some attractively toned examples. I see this one as 64 as I am unable to opine higher without seeing in hand.

Thank you for participating in this GTG.

The obverse of this Morgan is nearly perfect. Any imperfections can be found on the reverse. This coin is very frosty. I think its a good candidate for CAC.

Hard to see (solely based on pictures OP shared) how this wouldn't be a prime CAC candidate. OGH + CAC (of any color) = collector paradise
