Post up a great proof dime....I'd like to see more. They are small, but can be soooo pretty.

Thanks @lermish Yeah, the 1898 has a certain aura about it...The obverse device has great cameo frost, which you can't get from the photo. The color on your old 1881 is just dynamite....That's a favorite look for these coins.....

It’s a hard choice between the 1898 and the 1857 but I think the 1857 wins by a slight margin. It looks fantastic!

I've got one that's close, might get the CAM one day.

That's a very nice example with good contrast, and it's close.

This is the one from pictures that is the nicest one I remember, but I wasn't able to attend the auction to see it in person.

My friend Eldo has the absolute best “Barber Shop” in the country - not just his Barber Dimes, but his Barber Quarters and Barber Halves as well!!! All are spectacular!!!

Here a few of my nicest Proof Dimes - Like many old-time movies, I like “Black and White”, but I also like “Color”, lol:

    1. PCGS Pop = 5, only 3 finer:

    1. This PR66+DCAM the only 1892 DCAM in ANY Grade with a CAC sticker (total PCGS DCAM pop only 2 in ANY grade - the other one, nonstickered, is PR66DCAM). NGC 1 DCAM at 66, 1 at 67, but neither w/CAC. I bought this as a PR66DCAM. Once in hand, I liked it so much, I sent it back to PCGS for Reconsideration. Sure enough, they liked it too, and added on a plus!:

    1. PCGS Pop = 3, only 1 finer in CAM. Eldo saw this coin in hand when @FlyingAl took this photo.

    1. There are 180 of these graded PR68 (71 by PCGS and 109 by NGC). Of those 180, only 17 merit a CAC sticker! My friend @FlyingAl brought this lovely coin to my attention.
