    Another ‘30-S sold tonight in gem full head.. $1769 all in. It’s not in green holder, but in an old blue one with a CAC sticker. The price on this issue has definitely risen in recent years. GC has one going off next weekend without the full head designation. I am really interested to see how that one does.

    Unfortunately you left out the Old Blue Holder of 2002 with the super cool PNG logo. A very well made aesthetically pleasing design with that light blue pretty color that is arguably nicer than the color green of the OGH.

    I have the pleasure of owning the NGC Fatty Gen 3, ANACs ANA Soapbars, and different PCGS Gen Rattlers. All were great and conservatively graded. However you couldn't find a box of 20 with slots that were a fit for all, lol. If I had to pick 1 it would be the NGC Fatty. Something about that hefty feel, like you had a brick in your hands. Also liked the large white slab showcasing a B&W coin & the gold embossed emblem on reverse.

    I like the fatties (they need love too).
    They feel solid, coin presents well against the white background.

    Very fair point I just don’t think it has the recognizability of the other old holders

    Specifics would help. Are you saying Doily or any OGH? Even within the OGH or Fatty designation there’s huge spreads for different types.

    This one went really cheap tonight! Was expecting a much higher price..,It went for $603 all in. Someone got a really good deal, as I feel this one slipped under the radar! 1930 S, old blue holder and CAC sticker in gem. This one is drenched in luster.
