The 1930 S SLQ MS 65 full head OGH CAC just turned up, again, at Great Collections and sold today for $1865.00 all in. Maybe buyer saw this thread and realized how buried he was? He bought it March 2 and it’s sold today, May 3. That’s gotta be some type of record for the shortest ownership of a coin lol Says it’s from the ‘Yesterday collection’. The hammer price was approximately $1657. So, the owner lost about $660 in the process. That doesn’t include any consignment fees, either. I really like the coin, but I stayed out of it this time. Congrats (a shout, a holler, and a cigar) to the new owner! I believe that the CAC price guide lists it at $1600, so $1865 isn’t really that bad a price given the OGH premium factored in.

Well, it was only Yesterday's Collection, so it had to go to make room for Tomorrow's Collection!
