Can some of the Mint error expert give me your opinion on this mint error coin; authentic or counterfeit?

Totally real, and very nice
I’m hardly an expert on Kennedy’s, but my initial questions were, first, if the hair detail was unusually poor, and second, if the edge should show more signs of copper. My first question has been resolved by comparing it to the coin below. The second question I leave to the Kennedy experts.

is this question for me? Not sure what you are asking.
The reason I asked about this coin is that PCGS put it in a body bag (86 Authenticity Unverifiable). The coin looks real to me, so that's why I want to see what others' opinions are on the coin. I am wondering why PCGS did not want to grade it, because I'm not a big mint error dealer.
A 40 %er is first for me like that is a first here. Im starting to like even more now 👍
FYI, there was a deceptive group of die-struck counterfeit errors that came out of Bulgaria.
I would ask what @Byers , @FredWeinberg , and @SullivanNumismatics think of it.
they did not say counterfeit - > it would be worth a trip to NGC or ANACS for another opinion

Thanks, I think I might send it to CACG. I want to send some toned raw coins to CACG to test it anyway. I don't like the new TV photo for toned coin.

That's odd. If it already went through PCGS, that means that Jon Sullivan has seen it. At least that's what I understood the process was.
I'm interested to hear more. Based on the pictures, I would have been happy to have that in my collection.

63, 60, 61 is all highly subjective on a planchet. that isn't a big deal. however if they are willing to back a number not close to 63, then they'll back a guarantee of authenticity.
