    Here is a fooler. A nice enough coin; but, it has PVC. Was advised professionally that it couldn't be saved.

    It looks just fine to me, and if there is a haze that can't be seen in the photos, there is a good chance it can be removed in acetone.

    Trust me. I had it evaluated twice by a top professional and the answer was "No." A shame too, as I really liked the coin; particularly because it was a star.

    I have an interesting case that I'm waiting to come full circle:

    I bought an OGH coin from an estate sale recently. It graded 65. It ended up coming with a flip that had the label from NGC (fatty) that was a no grade "PVC". I sent the coin to CAC in the OGH.....I'm very interested to see how this turns out.
