Need Expert Help, Flowing Hair and Draped Bust PLEASE

Ok so I recently punched a pretty big coin collection from a old friend, I did not try purchase these 4 silver dollers because I wanted to authenticate first. Also I know the 1794 Flowing Hair is extremely rare, so yes the chance of it being fake are high but I still have to check. When I did a little research I found that the weight was correct, the star is close to the 1 and the writing on the side is correct. I did notice the 1796 has no rim writing and the weight is off so im already wondering about that one. Anyways im just hoping someone here can spot something proving there fake or not for me before I waste time and money sending in. Thank you fir any help

    Unfortunately, all of these appear to be modern replicas.

    And I agree i bought alot of stuff from this guy but these 4 coins and he had 2 fake gold coins the weight was way off on them. I felt like these silver dollers looked funny. And the guy didn't didn't try to pass them off he just said he wasn't sure but he hoped they were legit or atleast 1 or 2 were legit

    Its always a bummer to hear that coins your hoping to buy are fake.

    Yes, it’s a combination of the design details, the look of the surface texture and color.

    As just one very important example, genuine 1794 silver dollars are well known for exhibiting weakly struck stars. Look at your post above this one and compare the genuine graded example to the one you asked about and you’ll see a significant difference.

    I'll go as far to state they don't only appear and look like counterfeits, they ARE counterfeits.
    (And not the good, contemporary bogus ones either.)

    Fakes. I see people selling/buying those off-center bust ones that are not 1795. A couple sellers have gotten downright hostile when I point it out. Usually, it is the 1796 ones.

    No the rest of the stuff was good. The guy had alot of stuff lol been collecting anything and everything for along time. He collected it all to, very cheap worthless coins lol to some pretty nice stuff and he was upfront about these 4 and asked me to go get them checked before we talked about anything

    The 1796 and 1798 dollars are not good because they have the Liberty bust too far to the left. That variety only existed in 1795. I have seen the 1796 counterfeit before. The 1798 is new to me.

    The 1794 is not the right style for that date. There was only one die pair for the entire mintage.

    The 1799 has a double rim in the area below the date. I have never seen that on a genuine. I’d have to look at that coin more closely, but it is questionable with respect to authenticity.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
