12 coins - took about two years to finish. Fun hunt but not without a little frustration. The set ranks #2 in active Registry & #3 all time!
Check it out: Flying Eagle & Indian Head Cents - Short Set (1858) under heading “Indy Flyers”
Just won this at Great Collections on Sunday. Getting closer to having my slider set where I want it.
It’s supposed to show up today, but FedEx is apparently taking it on a tour of the western US. shrug
Newbie collector of type and circulated Peace dollars, photographer of places and animals, player of instruments and builder of amplifiers, espresso industry professional, and a person distracted by shiny objects.
I don't really collect Jeffersons, but I bought this one out of curiosity. There are only 56 prooflikes for the years 1971-2003, and 50 of them are 1998-D. The others are 1989-P, 1994-D, 1999-D, and 2001-D, all with just one coin graded, and the 1992-D, which has 2 coins, both MS64.
