Am I correct in thinking this is the two-feather variety in an unattributed holder?

If you want it shouldn’t have said anything until the auction is over.
Exactly! Why post this?
Many cherry pick auctions just like this...
Well, the consignor should be happy it’s posted.

At first blush, I would agree. The question I would have is why anybody would have this coin graded without the attribution -the coin is worth less than grading fees. Given that there are a number of other attributed pieces in the auction, I would be concerned that this coin failed to attribute at some point in the past.

People post and ask questions about active auctions all the time, so I did not think much of it. I was intrigued by the listing and wanted to post it.
Maybe the submitter forgot to pay the attribution fee, or intended to resubmit it at some point. Or, maybe the variety was not worth much more at the time the coin was originally submitted. Cool variety nonetheless.
Further validation that it is a Two Feathers is the current bid is $60, with four days left on bidding. Three bidders have already bid higher than the value of a common 1921 VF35.
I agree with the others that you may have created additional competiton by asking your question here.
