Yea Soldier Field ttheyre going to leave the question was just where. Theyre willing to put 2 billion into the Hammon site that they have been scouting but exactly where isnt confirmed yet. Theyve released a statement about it after the reports. Itll take a few years and nothing is finalized yet, but when the team itself is announcing its close

I dont like it. but i also dont like change in general.

I think that if this happens, there should be a name change associated. not only will they not be playing in Chicago, but not even in the state of Illinois.

to add, i feel the same way about the Jets and the Giants.

It's so exhausting to see the "click-baiters" on social media trying to get JJM out of MN via trade and/or create controversary for views.

A team with a sole "franchise QB" in Tarkenton, who left for a number of years to NYG, has minimal patience for developing another franchise QB.

The HC & GM messed up the QB room in 2025. Now many are trying to jettison JJM out of MN after 10 starts with a very mixed bag result. Throw in the Darnold won a SB drivel with Kyler Murray's trail of fired GMs and HCs, it's just mind-numbing.

If you remember their 1998 season, they started with Brad Johnson at the helm. He gets hurt, Randall Cunningham goes crazy with Moss/Carter/Reed/R. Smith and he lasts just one season. 1999 Cunningham is replaced by Jeff George while Daunte is on the bench and plays great in 2000 - then lays the ultimate egg in the NFCC with the rest of his teammates.

Sign me up for having two competent QBs - with injury issues - and Carson Wentz at QB3.

The Vikings could go 5-12 or 12-5 -- the NFL loves the drama -- it's just exhausting, as there's ZERO patience.

    Enjoy your collection!

Theres really not a good place to put a new Bears stadium in the city. They could tear down the current one and rebuild but that leaves them homeless for several years. Northwestern is currently doing that and theyre playing games on their practice field. Other than the Cubs or White Sox there wouldnt be any close options to play on.

Hammond isnt far and the difference in tax rate is crazy, its over 100 million a year. The city and really the state thought they would stay no matter what. Arlington Heights would have been a done deal which was the initial plan but refused to invest in improving the roads so they moved on

Nothings finalized and theyre still negotiating but every thing from both sides right now and the Bears scouting locations big time says its really close

I liked the fancy option on the lakefront that the Bears proposed the best, but no city is going to agree to 2B+ in public funding. There would be surge pricing on torches and pitchforks.

Go figure: --- "Niners Coach Was Using Phone At Time Of Crash"
    By iHeartRadio

    July 28, 2026
    .
New details have emerged regarding the car crash that injured San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan earlier this month. According to a report by Sports Illustrated, Shanahan was holding and using a cellphone at the time of the accident. Despite this, he was not cited for violating the California Vehicle Code, as the other driver was deemed at fault in the head-on collision.

    .
Sure - I'll repeat that for you: - " Shanahan was holding and using a cellphone at the time of the accident. Despite this, he was not cited for violating the California Vehicle Code, as the other driver was deemed at fault in the head-on collision."

the report said that Shanahan said he was at fault for the accident. It was listed in the database that the other driver made an unsafe turn and Shanahan said "I hit her, I dont know why it was reported the other way.". both drivers were not cited or under the influence during the crash. airbags deployed on both vehicles and both drivers were found to be wearing seatbelts. Lt. Nicolas Martines said, "There was a clerical error in the preparation of the report that was transmitted to the State database." and "I can confirm that KJyle Shanahan's statement that he provided is correct and that he was found at fault for the collision.".

He further said that people might only have access to stone tools and might be at the mercy of Fox News.

I've told family and friends this for many years. An automobile should be used for one purpose and one purpose only. That is to get from one destination to another safely. Anything else, and you are increasing the odds of possibly injuring yourself or worse.

If you think of an important text to send while driving? Fine. Then pull over into a parking lot somewhere, shut off the engine, and enjoy your texting.

i'm torn on Murray & the Vikes. the optimist in me says he finally fulfills his potential with all of those weapons. it'll never get better than playing pitch-n-catch with Jefferson, Addison, Jennings, and Hockenson. this is it for him -- the time to produce is now.

on the other hand, i've followed his career to this point a little too closely, thus i know what's entirely possible. i can easily envision him a) being ineffective, or b) getting hurt. either of which thrusts McCarthy or Wentz into the starting role. that would not be an optimal scenario.

in conclusion, Minny could be that sneaky good team that catches everyone by surprise this season, or they could be an unmitigated disaster. i'm going to tentatively say that it will be the former, for this reason: they had a winning record with a terrible starting QB last season. love Murray or hate him, but he's better than McCarthy. so why can't they win 10+?

I know your a Murray guy, I won't be upset if they do well I just have zero confidence in Murray for an entire season

I like Caleb Williams and the Bears, I'd like them to win the division

I don't hate the Packers but I definately don't trust them, Detroit had their chances until Dan Campbell ruined said chances

Murrays a huge upgrade. His AZ teams sucked. He can actually do things. Theres still questions about the team but the last time he had weapons around him like this he won the Heisman and if hes a 0 confidence guy McCarthy is a -200 guy.

Dont be surprised if the Vikings go after a QB in the first round next year

This is the least excited I've been about the Vikings regular season in a few years.

They could go 6-11 or 11-6.

Personally, I do not like Kyler Murray. McCarthy gets lambasted from every angle no matter what he does & now folks have Wentz as QB2 and are glazing hard on him and Kyler.

    It's a social media shit-show.

I plan to hit a great away game next month & MNF vs. Bills in November - get in a couple games when there's hope.

    We shall see...

In 1997, the Vikings had a miracle/gift win vs. Giants, in the playoffs, on the road. The next year they get Randy Moss, Gary Anderson goes almost perfect and the season opens with Brad Johnson but that quickly turns to Randall Cunningham. The next year RC is cooked and Jeff George is slinging it to the shoot-out vs. Rams & Kurt Warner in another playoff loss. I bring that up because unlikely things happened & it reminds me of the prognosis of this year.

I think this is a season to roll with it. Anything and everything could happen in what's likely the most competitive division in the NFL - one in which I think Detroit wins.

Who benefits from all of what's happened? Kevin O'Connell - since they fired their crapola GM that should never have been hired (but hired KOC), I think he's in "Year-Zero" in his mind. Getting sick & tired of KOC with no playoff run...

Jerry Burns has run circles around KOC.

I've got low hopes/expectations & in a prove-it-to-me mentality heading into this fall...

    Enjoy your collection!

By the time he would be off a rookie deal they should be able to afford who it is if theyre good since some of the others will have expired. That said the Jefferson contract is kinda killing them. Theres a short window they can keep these weapons together unless theyre just going to have a rookie QB every year

Ill never get why KC isnt giving Mahomes more weapons.

Rams are definitely the favorite especially if Donald comes back and is anywhere close to what he was that d line will be a real problem and Donald did another workout with them today.

Philly got some more offensive help for Hurts but wasnt great last year. Vikings I wouldnt sleep on either

I think Denver or Buffalo will be fighting it out for the AFC with Buffalo finally winning

NFC no idea other than the Rams

Ill never get why KC isnt giving Mahomes more weapons.

Rams are definitely the favorite especially if Donald comes back and is anywhere close to what he was that d line will be a real problem and Donald did another workout with them today.

Philly got some more offensive help for Hurts but wasnt great last year. Vikings I wouldnt sleep on either

Mahomes has better weapons than Allen I think

Maybe but Kelce is nothing special anymore and the rest of them are kinda like Rick Vaughan in Major League saying he played in the California Penal League.

But the reality is that the Chiefs didn't waste Mahomes prime years and did him well with help on the offense, Buffalo basically has been hanging Allen out to dry since he became good

That is true which is one reason why he runs so much and basically acts like a RB on his runs. Coleman should turn into something. Allen is one of those guys that spreads the ball around a lot which is a good thing but can make it hard to keep the diva WRs happy

That's what drove Diggs out of there

They should still have 2 good WR's for him at all times, they live employing guys who are terrible in hopes that Allen will make them good and it's cost them

Coleman has the potential to be really good. Big guy super fast but yea they really should be putting more around him and spreading the ball is definitely what drove Diggs away. If they get get him a couple big time guys I would suspect hed probably spread it less

I thought there was a lot of heat on Coleman last season because he was horrible with drops?

He is just another Gabe Davis, just a roster filler since the Bills can't evaluate WR talent all that well, but again getting rid of McDermott was a huge step in the right direction, speaking of McDermott I remember that moron giving useless Gabe Davis a game ball when he didn't even record a single catch lol
