Be sure to check later in the day. In times of Hugh traffic (like today’s enhanced gold release) the Mint has been know to have the subscriptions page down for a time. Just to be safe, look in a few hours to be sure.
250k+ now. I’m out! Especially at the ridiculous price they are asking. They have jumped the shark on these 250th offerings. Next year you will probably see them on eBay for $100 less than issue price.

I appreciate the heads up, as I got burned on half dollar subscriptions. If I had decreased on that date (6 days before), abd changed my mind, they wouldn't have filled them, but I decreased and they still processed them. I'm trying today, but running into the "no subscriptions" message, that I get whether it is a high traffic day or not. I pause one sub and then it goes back to "no subscriptions" again and I have to repeatedly refresh to get the listing back. The USM system is a joke.

I did remember your post about the half dollar, so I'm hoping you can make the necessary changes before they lock us in.

Thanks, I working on it, largely due to your helpful reminder.
There was a bunch this morning too. I guess the email reminder from the Mint shook a few loose.
It's really difficult to see value in 250K at $245 each. The Mint is being very piggy is trying to milk every last cent out of us, and it is bound to backfire and just kill interest, demand and value. For $255 last year they sold 25K limited edition sets that included at ASE, at that was considered expensive, although it did not include a nickel or a cent that were available in quantity via the regular and silver proof sets.
They should be making annual sets to demand, and pricing them at cost plus a modest premium. Instead, they are trying to capitalize on 250th hype, and people chasing what happened last year, when they prematurely cut off sales at 125K, and secondary market prices skyrocketed on speculation that the cent would never be seen again.
So now the cents are back, along with all the oh so special 250th coins. 250K of them, at almost double what the set sold for last year. Sets that are now widely available on eBay for a little more than $300 each.
People should buy them if the like them, and if they want to continue sets. Not because they think 250K of them are going to do anything on the secondary market, special cent or otherwise.
Because proof cents were always only available in proof sets, and that didn't make them worth over $100 each in the past. When the fever breaks, people are going to realize 250K silver proof sets containing 5 silver quarters, a silver dime and a silver half, plus a nickel and a cent, are not worth nearly $245 with silver at ~$75 an ounce. Get back to me when silver is trading at $150 per ounce.

These sets are still available to sub at this hour of night. Must be a steady stream of cancellations as people receive that email reminder that the time is almost at hand.
I just went to check out the secondary since you mentioned it, and you’re correct. There’s a seller with multiples at $299 and many others not much above $300.
When I last checked ATS numbers for the 11th, it was well over 170,000. Shouldn’t be tough to get on drop day if you feel $245 is worth it. This is not a repeat of the 2025 set to be sure.
Oh….and apparently that Liberty bell privy thing died. It’s still listed on the subscriptions page as being so, but the product page is pretty clear that you’re not getting any privy on any coin in this set.
Sorry, wrong number. Edited post! You are correct!
You're both right. There is an ATS for the subscriptions, and another one for the actual sets.
175K are presently available to sell on 6/11, in addition to what was subscribed for, and what was set aside for Big Boys. The last time they sold anything close to 250K of these was in 2022. And the price back then was $105.
I happen to think they are reaching by doubling the mintage and nearly doubling the price from last year, banking on 250th hype and on the fact that the price skyrocketed in the secondary market last year, from a far lower price, on speculation that there would be no more proof cents.
TBD, but lots of folks are cutting back or canceling altogether in response to the 125K mintage increase from last year, as well as the fact that they sucked most, or all, of the flip out these by pricing them at $245.

The current ATS is the entire amount minted to date. That will decrease soon by ~25k as that qty shifts over to 26RHAB. And then the night prior/morning of 6/11, the subscriptions all trigger and then the ATS - assuming subscriptions aren't canceled in troves this week- will plummet to 50-75k.

Where are you getting that from? Why can't it be 250K minus the subscriptions? Do you have a production report? Do you know that exactly 250,520 will not have been made available for sale on or before 6/11, and that the 175K ATS right now does not involve deductions from 250K?
ATS is an inventory management number that tells the system how many are available to sell. When the Mint is accepting Back Orders, it absolutely includes product not yet "minted to date," since by definition that involves selling product they do not have available to ship until a future date.

Yes, I know most of what I stated to be true. Though a couple of educated/guided assumptions were included as well.
Ftr, almost of all these products with mintage figures (above ATS), won't actually ever reach their limits. Eg, today's gold EU has a defacto 6k mintage limit, I don't care what the site says. The odds of the mint running new production, securing new packaging and listing them for sale in a few months are close to zero.
The congrats sets and the to be relisted dual date ASEs were the outliers.

In that case, apologies to @nurmaler. I stand corrected.
Tangential to the silver proof -- the mint sets that are coming 6/30 went from 190K to 300K and they are available it seems in a large number still. I cut my silver proof and mint set orders both from 10 to 5, and my clad set sub to 2.

I saw that the latest EBay sales are around $300, with some higher than that, but not by much. Using their fee calculator, that’s about $12+ profit and the $299 seller is paying for shipping out of that.

Not too good of a business model, hopefully they have other higher margin items.

The ones I’ve seen at $299 are a large online dealer with an EBay store, so I’m sure profits come from elsewhere. Maybe just offering this set to show they have everything in stock. Will be an interesting Mint offering to watch

FWIW same here. I’ll wait and watch and eventually not buy it at all.
I started at 10 sets, cut to 5, and now 3. I still believe with the dual dates and one off designs this is a unique set for collectors. $245 eliminates much of a flip unless silver takes off.

Cancelled sub for ASE earlier this year 7 days before and they shipped any way. What you see and what you get from the mint now changes at will. The mint can no longer be trusted with its facts or figures.

ATS down to ~152k as expected. (ABPP =~22.5k).
ABPP buyers didnt all buy their allotments yet = ~9k more on that listing.
Will be interesting to see if the ABPP take their full allotment.
I canceled my subscription. FWIW
FWIW same here. I’ll wait and watch and eventually not buy it at all.
I really only wanted the dime, so I'll probably just buy it separately.

The dime and the half in silver would interest me, but the value in having one in a set isn’t there for me. If I don’t find other things to interest me from a collection standpoint, I might buy those. Can wait awhile though
Initially had 10 but cut to 5. Already sold two three cent sets (P, D and S) at $459 on EB (so after the cost of the proof and mint set and shipping I break even on those two sets of each and have all the other coins left) and sold one silver set for $369 and will keep the other two. One silver half and the Native dollar proof went fast separately, the others are still there. That leaves one intact and maybe grade some coins from the other for me, if they don't look great I'll give that second set to my grand nephew, he's 10 and with all the stuff I give him he is really getting into collecting. He'll probably get a mint set also since I kept 5 subs on those.
The silver proof set is actually a better deal than it was last year given the increase in silver price. Combined with the 2026 clad sets being a total ripoff I could see myself getting this one

Depends on whether you're talking percentage or fixed premium. You're talking about $150 premium.

Nope. The silver set went on sale last year for $150. $245 is not a better deal, "given the increase in silver price."

Now you need to cancel at 8 days before to avoid being locked in
Looks like I had nothing to worry about. I logged into both my accounts and neither have any subscriptions associated with those accounts... sneaky buggers...
Thanks!
Grabbed 10 of these initially
For investing, grandkids, and me
But today’s gold rush
Means funds aren’t as flush
So cutting the sub down to 3
I just hope to get one.......
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
I predict you will have little trouble doing so.
Mint faq says 5 days. Where did you see 8?
269 subbs open!
Edit.....
Here is the ATS link

Thank's ...... I cant make heads or tails from that !
I don't think you know who nurmaler is. He does know more than us.

Blushing
I saw that the latest EBay sales are around $300, with some higher than that, but not by much. Using their fee calculator, that’s about $12+ profit and the $299 seller is paying for shipping out of that.
Not too good of a business model, hopefully they have other higher margin items.
The ones I’ve seen at $299 are a large online dealer with an EBay store, so I’m sure profits come from elsewhere. Maybe just offering this set to show they have everything in stock. Will be an interesting Mint offering to watch
My net on $299 with a $245 cost is $27.44. $31 80 is listed in the bullion category. FWIW

If you can get PRCG PR70 Half dollars and cents it will make the set profitable.
I really only wanted the dime, so I'll probably just buy it separately.
