GFRC auction win

GFRC 2.0 just held their first auction, which included in part a very nice set of Liberty Seated Quarters. I am slowly putting together an O-Mint set. I now have 6, the first one was acquired in 2011 so the pace is very slow. Nevertheless, I was able to acquire this one in the auction:
.

.
Suffice to say it is a very nice coin with all of the superlatives noted in the auction description. Most of the auction lots sold and Matt and Darrell as 2.0 are carrying on an important tradition that Gerry started.

Post your GFRC coins, auction or outright buy, here.

Best, DM

Who is GFRC? Or is it GRFC? You have both in your post.

Really nice, the 60-S is a really tough coin to get CACed (n=35, only 6 higher than yours), or even non-CACed, and is easily one of the standout coins in the series and this auction. The 65-S has even less CACed examples at 21. What a great group, congrats!

Nice wholesome circulated quarter that could really tell some stories if she could talk!

I’m glad that the Gerry Fortin tradition is being carried on forward.

It answered my question as well

I bought this one from GFRC a couple of years back.

Their photos just might have improved since the new ownership. I think it was the use of natural sun light that made the earlier photos somewhat...um....questionable. However, maybe things have improved.

    Too many to list here!

Regarding GFRC 2.0 and the picture improvement, the new owner's pictures have made a considerable improvement yet, in my view, are too dark. However, unlike a well known dealer, they are much more accurate than wildly color enhanced.

GFRC, Darrell's images are high resolution and they look very much like the coin in hand.
Matt and Darrell's coin descriptions are accurate, well written, and very helpful. Keep up the good work!

GFRC 2.0. The pictures are a significant improvement from GFRC 1.0 but the coin is slightly lighter in hand.

I'll bet the color comes through on this one, nice coin!
