GFRC auction win

GFRC 2.0 just held their first auction, which included in part a very nice set of Liberty Seated Quarters. I am slowly putting together an O-Mint set. I now have 6, the first one was acquired in 2011 so the pace is very slow. Nevertheless, I was able to acquire this one in the auction:
.

.
Suffice to say it is a very nice coin with all of the superlatives noted in the auction description. Most of the auction lots sold and Matt and Darrell as 2.0 are carrying on an important tradition that Gerry started.

Post your GFRC coins, auction or outright buy, here.

Best, DM

Who is GFRC? Or is it GRFC? You have both in your post.

Thanks, I should have known that immediately. I did put it together after a little more thought.

We appreciate all the nice comments about Gerry Fortin Rare Coins (GFRC) both when Gerry ran it and now. Also congrats to all the auction winners from Part I of Mike's seated quarters including the original poster DM. He won one of the best coins (of which there were many).

As a thank you to all GFRC customers, both new and old, we are conducting a giveaway to celebrate the three month anniversary since Darrell and I took over. If you check out today's blog (May 21st), you can read about the giveaway.
https://212collectibles.com/DailyBlog.php. We are giving away 2 silver eagles to the person who gets the most points choosing the top finishers in this Sunday's Indy 500. Late this evening we are also listing many new purchases so tomorrow morning would be a good time to visit the site, peruse the NEWPS and make some INDY 500 guesses. Good luck!

    Thanks again.

Really nice, the 60-S is a really tough coin to get CACed (n=35, only 6 higher than yours), or even non-CACed, and is easily one of the standout coins in the series and this auction. The 65-S has even less CACed examples at 21. What a great group, congrats!

This one. I bought it indirectly from Gerry. He did tell me at this past year’s FUN, it ranks #3 of all the coins he’s bought & sold over the years!

    Dang! Sweet dime!
