1922-D Lincoln Cent NEWP
I don’t normally buy raw coins, but I really really liked this one!
Is it worth sending in? Not really, but I thought I would pick it up anyway… Got it for $33.
What do you guys think?
And, what do you think the grade is?

First set of pictures is my old iPhone 13, borrowed my mom‘s iPhone Pro to take this second pair of photos… Better resolution but I like the first pics better, they show the color more accurately…

Nice looking circulated Lincoln Terry. Can’t go wrong for short money. Looks like an AU 53 to me.
Zack.
I like the look ... a lot! Yeah, low to mid AU I think.

Very nice circulated example, congrats on your newp. I cannot discern any luster in the photos so that caps the grade at XF45 for me, I would not be surprised if the TPG's would call it AU53

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Nice XF45. Great Dansco coin.

I would call it AU, and agree that it is prefect for an album. No need to get that coin certified in my mind. 1922-D cents can come remarkably well struck if you can find one from fresh dies.

Very nice coin. I would guess AU. Match this coin and you have a great set.
The CoinFacts price in EF-45 is $55. It is $100 in AU-55.
I would be proud to have that as an album coin, but given those prices, it's not worth certifying.

A premium EF/AU. Very nice
Collector, occasional seller
AU50+ (assuming there is such a thing).
45-50. For $33 you did well.
Maybe a quick dip with some acetone or leave it alone?
I thought about that, but the coin is so refreshingly original I would probably just leave it as is.
Yeah, I get that
AU50 would look nice is a set of Lincoln’s with that pleasing light chocolate tone.
55bn.

A beautiful piece no matter what the grade.
Congratulations 👍
Initially, I was at 45, but there is a small amount of luster, and 50 is right about where I am as well…
