If the 2027 Congrats set also has a P mint mark, will it detract away from the 2026 P marked coin?
No. It's not the P. It's that it is the only 2026-P. I think you are under the misconception that it is the only P mintmark. It is not.
One might also argue that the 2026-P ASE will earn its place within the top 5 lowest mintage of the series:
The '26-P has a limit of 60k, and current sales have it at 40,067 pcs.

March 15, Latest sales show 40,064 for Congratulations.
As of March 22, the sales number shows 40,055.
As of March 29, the sales number shows 40,067.
As of April 5, the sales number shows 40,063.
As of April 12, the sales number has come full circle back to the 40,064 number.
These numbers are so interesting. Anyone ever hear anything on the other 20k?
I have not heard anything on the last 20k. If they don't make them that will be a big thing for the 40k issued. I would like to know ahead of time before they release the final 20k so I could be ready for the fight. With no HHL, the fight will be over very fast.

I think the mint keeps track of things like this thread. It would be silly not to mint the other 20K as they would certainly sell out quickly. I hope the mint does not mint and sell the other 20K.

Well, at least you think this thread is more important than it probably is....

Limited quantities of the highly popular 2026 Congratulations Sets are on the way—just in time to celebrate graduation and other major milestones and achievements! These additional units will be available to purchase on the official United States Mint website on May 6. Don’t miss out—quantities are limited and won’t last long.
Hopefully the HHL is reinstated before 06 May just like they did for the US Army Privy coin restocking campaign in summer 2025. Can you imagine the marketing disaster for the USM to go and advertise the restocking only to have bots purchase the remaining X units in less than 10 seconds.

Some of the coin dealers are starting to run out of inventory, so prices may move up soon.
Then it'll be time to release the 19,000 or so left in the product limits. Wonder how many of those 19,000+ they will actually Mint?

2) 1995-W Proof: mintage = 30,102
3) 2008-W Reverse of 2007 Uncirculated: mintage = 46,318
4) 2026 Congratulations Gift Set = 60,000 (pending)
5) 2020-W v75 Privy Proof: mintage = 74,709;
Will the 2027 Congrats set have a Mintage limit of 60k, regardless of Mint mark? I don't know.
Yes, of course. If it had a mintage of 500,000 we wouldn't care. [I only half care as it is. Lol. ]

I wonder @ what time on May 6th? Noon?

I had signed up for an email notice if these came available. I have not seen anything about a new release yet.
I also signed up for the email and text notifications.
This morning at 0700 (Pacific time) I received a "Restocking Soon: 2026 Congratulations Set" email that sets the restocking date of 06 May 2026.
I have not seen a text notification as of yet, but plenty of time for other emails and texts to be sent for those that signed up for notifications.
I also received the email about restocking. I guess people at the mint read my post of 4/21. LOL
Yup, here we go again....that answers all the speculations in this 22 page thread! I've got enough of them,
this will most likely drop resale values a bit, but thats the game we play at the US mint.....lol

So much for being on the reminder mailing list. I still haven't received a notice about May 6 or the battleground layout.
Many people don't know about the new release as prices are over $300 a set raw on Ebay.
