1922 Weak D different PCGS numbers

There could certainly be small variety changes. I don't really know anything about the 1922-D cents (especially because I don't really have the money to own one of my own) but I think this is probably the best possibility. Whether or not both cents are labeled as the "Weak D" variety, there could be a secondary variety with its own PCGS number.

Also, the "No D, Weak Reverse" was discontinued - currently all "Weak Reverse", including the former "No D" are classified as "Weak D".

I'm hoping this is eventually debunked as you can look at my no D, weak reverse with a 20x loupe and not see a trace. I know others have similar examples as well.

I actually bought a limited edition hardback copy at the CSNS show. I think I torched $600 on books at that show. Fortunately, I have a very understanding wife.
