I just spent a lot of time sitting in waiting rooms this morning. I woke up a little late so didn't get signed in but was hit with 6 minutes locked in a waiting room before it would release me to nothing available. Then at x:45 I log into my computer and am locked into another 6 minute waiting room before being let out for more nothing. This mint site and waiting room thing is random and weird.

They never used to bother with it in the morning. It's odd

Clearly the waiting room is automatically activated when server load reaches a threshold.

It is fun to watch the Waiting Room Clock though...like that waiting room has no concept of time.

Waiting time: 10 minutes....no, 30 minutes.....no wait, 15 minutes...5 minutes.....now 60 minutes...okay now it's 35 minutes.....1 minute.....wait a minute, just a minute, one minute please... finally- you're in...you now have 10 minutes to complete your purchase. Really? Are they really counting down 10 minutes or is that another sporadic timer too?

You do realize that this is based on an algorithm that changes and adjusts based on actual transaction rate? Some people, like my old man, probably consume most of the 10 minutes. I can check out in less than 1. So based on how I would design the software, there's likely a running average transaction time fluctuating between 2 and 7 minutes and the time you see the result of: [[Number of people in front of you]/[Max number of shoppers allowed]] * [Average transaction time].

I agree, but the waiting room didn't use to trigger like that automatically. It wasn't even on for every release.

Congrats 2026 HHL 3 remained for subscribers after the drop to 1 HHL occurred.
1776~2026 Two Pennies with circ unc sets have no HHL, 190K Max

I won't know what happens till 4-14 tranche drops into shipping & delivery, then 4-21 ditto.

In mean time I've got a Congrats 26 ASE Philly due tomorrow.

Just bumped a 1776~2026 single unc set to 2 then 3 then 4 and quit at 5. Now on the hook for 15 sets at $124.50 due June 30th 2026

Are you really "on the hook" though, if you can either cancel them, or send them back if you are not happy, or they don't do anything in the secondary market? Why not just go all the way to the limit on your credit card, and get it over with? At least until the drop everyone to 1, or 3, or whatever before release.

They have in the past. The didn't with the Congratulations Set. So, who knows?

The fact that there is no HHL now, and that people like you are loading up, makes it more likely they will impose a limit and retroactively enforce it. Otherwise, they will have even less to sell at release than they did with the Congratulations Set.

REALLY ? RETROACTIVELY....... Why bother having a posting that is inaccurate ?

Because things change. The posting is accurate at the time, but they usually do not fill orders that violate HHLs at the time of fulfillment.

So they don't change the subscription, but they only fill the order to the limit. Same way they can change pricing between when you sign up for a subscription and when it is filled.

Either that, or they are just seeing a lot more traffic now than in the past. Because, while the waiting room didn't used to kick in at 7:30, or be used for every release, the site has never, to my knowledge, crashed since they started using the waiting room.

Would the 1993 P be the first proof American Silver Eagle struck at the Philadelphia mint? I'm just wondering because of the 2026 P Congratulation set, if I'm not mistaken there's been post saying this is the first coin. Just wondering.

Yes. There have been numerous P Proofs in this series, but 1993 was the first.

The 2026 isn't important for being the first P, but it's the only P Proof this year with only 60,000 minted.

Yes, that waiting room was a challenge this go-round, and my laptop got lost in the shuffle as many stated above. BUT, I had the "Remind Me" from the US Mint on my iPhone and so I opened it up and it went right to the coin! So got my one and got out of there.
HOWEVER, 60,000 I still a lot of coins and makes any of the 100k issues like last year's privy marked coins to be irrelevant.
It is also my belief which is NOT supported by the dealer corps on this site that the general demographics for collecting coins is TERRIBLE and resembles the old Buick upside down pyramid demographic with there being some, but vastly fewer young collectors. Unfortunately IMHO from a coin fanatic there is nearly zero relevancy of coins, let alone the collecting of them amongst younger generations.
Sorry for going on a tirade but pointing up 1,2,10 or 100 examples of Yes to the contrary does not dissuade this opinion because in general there is NO interest amongst kids. I have noticed in my job where I see many people of many backgrounds and ages as well as at my son's school that these kids are just not interested across the board despite all efforts to generate interest.
Anyway, I am glad I got my single example. I think the mint will be selling many, many fewer of the non-exclusive issues - not that they care however.

Well, a lot to unpack here in this thread. My experience was different somewhat. I actually forgot about this coin, riptide of daily life and all. Got a text from the mint. Hopped on my laptop at 8:45 AM, got in the waiting room. A little after 9:00 am the screen changed and I ordered 2 coins, but it only accepted one coin, paid and it's being delivered today! I think I got lucky...

Regarding the HHL, I understand that this time the existing subscriptions with quantities greater than one were honored.
During the past few weeks, I saw the “Add to Bag” multiple times, but I only added one.
I am wondering: if I had added more during the past few weeks, would those have been honored? At what point is the HHL applied?

No. While the HHL was in effect, they would not have let you add more to an existing subscription. The fact that orders were fulfilled for existing subscriptions in excess of the HHL, that were in place before the HHL was lowered was either glitch or their new policy. TBD.

When the HHL is set for one, you are able to get one. Honoring subscriptions for more than one is a glitch that they didn't fix in time. I've seen orders cancelled on account of someone trying to order more than the HHL before. If you tried to place more in your bag, I think you would have been flagged. I think the problem this time around was the HHL was higher at first and someone decided to change it, but didn't follow through with the subscription portion of the orders. IMHO

What is the ATS for this coin ?

And how do I find this ?

Zero, or the red button would be available

The system worked flawlessly. Got all 5 sets I subscribed for today.

Well, not exactly flawlessly. You, as I were lucky it didn't. Our subscriptions should have been dropped to the new hhl of one.

Yes flawless. I got what I ordered. The US Mint does not reduce an order already placed.

They have in the past reduced subscriptions, to meet the new hhl. This happened widely for the AWQ 3 roll sets.

That should not have happened. I didn’t subscribe to these so I can’t confirm.

That has always been the Mint policy. What happened this year (several things) should not have happened.

Not sure what you think you ordered, like @jmlanzaf said, the sub is for 2027 coins NOT 2026

I think he's referring to the coins already shipped.

I did not receive 2027 coins. 😂. They were the 2026 Congratulations Sets.
