With no HHL it may not last long. I'm sure we will see more of them in the future (like the 2025 Silver set that was again available this morning for a short time)
they sold nearly 300,000 2025 silver eagle proofs, that are not special at all.
And I see that they’ve sold already 200,000 2026s with the dual date per the Mint sales report, so I don’t see any reason why they’re not gonna be able to sellout of this initial lot especially after the limit is lifted.
The question is with the higher price will they sell as many and will they bother minting more?
Either way for us non dealers, I mean to grade and sell on eBay and pay all the fees, your break even is around $300 or a little less, plus you’re hoping to get 70s
So it’s a good coin to get, but are you really gonna make any money buying a bunch of them?
There's no HHL for tomorrow at noon. People can buy as many as they can stomach, I suppose. No product limit, so with the 209,027 and the 68,555 available tomorrow, there's still some room for them to offer more. Is 26EA available in any other products? Since there's no Limited Edition Silver Set,what else could they be included in?
I added my 25 2025 W ASE Proof for $95 each, just hours before the recent price adjustment, which came close to doubling current prices. All were perfect, which was a bonus.
Basically, I stacked them for spot price today whereas I am a firm no thanks on 1776~2026 ASE Proof due to 500k max. They'll sell out 500k as other than mintage it is cool looking.
I would be into pretty unc finish dual date version with or w/o privy issued in a typical clam case, but it's not included in their 56 2026 offers.

Correct. But you are failing to take into account how many of those 300K 2025 proof ASEs were sold at the end of the year, when they were available for close to spot before the Mint pulled them from sale. Turns out that alone accounted for over 50K of the sales.
299K as of 2/22/26
242K as of 11/30/25 @ $95 each
Still think they are not going to have problem selling 500K 2026s @ $173? Anything is possible, due to the oh so special dual date and privy mark, but I wouldn't bet on it. Not based on half as many selling last year at half the price.
Sales begin tomorrow. Current POP reports show PCGS has many in hand. A decent percentage of them are grading 70.
Personally I'm not one to pay much premium for a FDI or FS label. But they still appear to be popular. It is almost difficult to find a standard base label ASE on ebay in the sea of label mania. I know this is a very controversial topic but lets limit this to the money value of the label here. What is your value experience with labels? When you sell, do you find you "normally" get enough premium to justify cost? For you, are FS labels about returns of higher premiums, a wider audience, or personal preference?
I haven't submitted anything for grading in a few years and was just looking over the options. With Modern Value being $17/coin and FS adding another $18/coin, that adds a relatively substantial amount to the overall grading costs.
Advance Release. Some folks find value in that, and are willing to pay a significant premium for it.
Even the dealers had to pay more than "$173 a pop" for them. How many do you think you'll be able to buy direct from the USMINT? Answer -- 0. So there's that.
I'm not saying those coins are worth anywhere near $699. I don't even think they are worth $173. But let's compare apples to apples when disparaging the offerings of others.
Endorsing HSN 4x markup while "disparaging" USMINT 2x repricing is surprising.
Slabs with generic GEM PROOF instead of numeric grade are more desirable than graded slabs ?
Are you serious ?
Dealer locally pays zero premium on ASE Slab 70s & I'll assume no numbers assigned GEM PROOF slabs too.
But maybe these no grades are the holy grail for plastic collectors ?
Sell all you care to for $2 less than bullion so the 1776~2026 at $89 spot is worth $87. Buy all you can for $4 over spot so 89 plus $4 is $93 plus coin tax.
Dug some more here's a HSN Proof 70 for $699 and has Mike's 10 minute video sales pitch included, started with 620 instock:

Interesting...that on the day that pricing for this particular issue (This thread is about the 2026 Congratulations Set) was announced (Jan 16th), Silver closed at $88.54
The day before release (Feb 26), Silver is selling for $89.00 - after a brief run up past $115.
I just bring it up, because I do not believe that Silver is going to remain at this level - personally, I see it back below $50 before summer.
This purchase is interesting. It's getting premium pricing due to the low mintage numbers but @ $175 each...it's WAY overpriced. Secondary market it not really offering much of a profit either.
This is a quick buy & dump for me...
I may keep one for a relative graduating college this year but it seems like even that is a poor purchase for a graduation gift, at this price!
Been digging up my 5 ounce ATB boxes from 2014. Glad I added more than I recalled, wish I had bought more.
I was paying under $160 each direct from USMINT.
Now one ASE $ ounce sells for more than 5-ounce boxed P mint marked retailed at 12 years ago.
I think best ASE investment in 2026 offers will be 2026 Congratulations with P mint mark. It will be 4th lowest mintage of series behind 1995W and 2008 reverse of 2007. You should keep all you get. If I had more than one incoming I'd keep them all @HoneyMarket
I hadn’t received anything concerning my subscription so I called the US Mint a few minutes ago and she said my subscription for three sets was confirmed and waiting to be shipped. Fingers crossed. 😉
Congratulations!!!! I'm not sure what this is supposed to represent, because I just signed into the website with no problem and no delay.
The way this works is that they will kick everyone off the website and force people into the waiting room shortly before noon, where their place in line will be randomized before they start allowing people into the website around noon.
There was a backdoor in the past that took you right to the checkout screen from which you could presumably scrounge around the website to hit the product page and fill your cart. I never used it, although some reported success. Good luck!

Yeah. It's up now for me too. Again, it means nothing and there is no gaming it. Unless that backdoor link actually works. Close to noon, they will clear the website, and then not allow anyone in without waiting until after noon, and going through the waiting room again.
