Yes. I was WRONG! The first time anyone does anything differently than in the past, anyone relying on what was done in the past, with no advance notification that things have changed, will be wrong. As I was here.
Happy? LOL
Yes, I am but also dumbfounded, as I never thought you would!
You are often so sure of yourself when you reply to others - often, with an arrogant confidence in your replies.
I figured you would not admit your were wrong but I guess you did...
...and now I'm the one who was so sure of something - and I was wrong!
Yes. I was sure of myself, and will probably continue to be. But I have admitted I was wrong in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. I think you might be confusing me with someone else here. 😀

If you get one from a subscription and are able to order 1 today do you guys think they would shop both?
I wonder when the household limit will be removed for 0730 releases.
The HHL will be removed for 7:30 releases on Saturday.
As far as them shipping purchases made today in addition to subscriptions goes, who knows at this point? They shouldn't have shipped 3 on the subscriptions, but they apparently have.
They should purge orders placed today in excess of the HHL, which would include subscriptions. Will they do that after shipping 3 on subscriptions? TBD.
What's the difference now? Either you'll get them or you won't. Don't pre-sell them until you have a shipping confirmation in hand.

Yes, this is my only fear - even with a USPS Tracking number!
They could still purge and limit us to just one...

Haven't lost my respect. (not that you needed it) It seems like if you had an order of 3 in prior to the date they reduced to HHL of 1, they may have left you alone and shipped 3. After all, wouldn't that make them look bad? LOL!!!!!!!!
The subscription isn't specific to the 2026 release. You might have had the subscriptions for 10 years when there was a different HHL.
They need to fix the problem or I'm simply going to subscribe to 1000 of everything and when I get 1000 of a limited release, people are going to realize was this was NOT a good thing nor an intended outcome.
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.
we all know the game. 2026 they changed it. the congratulations sets sold no more than 35K last 5-6 years. they boosted it to 60K and now everyone complained about the process? you either paid attention, or tried to get lucky today and beat the waiting room odds. nothing more nothing less.

Good point. I didn't think of longer-termed subscribers maybe having 10 subs (or whatever) to the product from years past. I was told that when this specific product was first listed on the Mint site that 3 was the limit (November 2025??) and in December was reduced to 1?

fyi, my subscription of three has shipped, so no reduction on those....
This is VERY surprising, given the relatively low mintage and the HHL. Something is definitely not right when some people can get 3 by subscription, other are limited to 1 by subscription, still others have to fight their way through a waiting room to buy, and many, many others get shut out.
In the past, they always reduced the subscriptions to whatever the HHL is on release day. I guess they now have a new sheriff, and have chosen to reward the early birds, along with, as always, the Big Boys, and screw everyone else.

Nah. Once you have a tracking number you are out the door.
Until then, you can get a notification that your order exceeded the HHL, and was canceled. Again, this is exactly what was done in the past. Given that they have already shipped 3 on some subscriptions, it would make no sense to do this purge for 1, but that doesn't mean that they won't. So you just have to wait and see what happens.
That said, once you receive a shipping notification and a tracking number, it's over. You don't literally have to wait for it to appear in your mailbox.

Or, as @jmlanzaf suggested, something broke down. Not just today, but back to when they pinged cards for the higher subscription amount. Either way, we get to the same place. As before, they say one thing and do another.
Speaking of which, stay tuned on the dual dated proofs. They sold far less than 500K, and they are Unavailable. Not on Back Order. Let's see what happens there.
As with everything else, I don't need people telling me that a "limit" is not a guarantee of a quantity. Because common sense dictates that if any organization establishes a production limit, and can sell up to that limit, that they will want to do so.
Otherwise, the limit means absolutely nothing, and people cannot make informed purchasing decisions based on it. Similarly, it would also be foolish to make decisions based on speculation that they might short mint anything, at any time, for any reason.
Or for no reason at all, other than to give Big Boys wins. Especially if they receive notice that the public does not that certain items will be short minted.
TBD here. No way to know what might happen, given how gold high relief coins sprang back to life with thousands more made available weeks after an apparent short mintage sell out.
i see confirmation of my subscription shipping but when I go to the My Subscriptions it says "There are no subscriptions associated with your account." definitely some issues with the website right now.

You are correct. This was always different, because the coin was from Philadelphia, not West Point. And the limit was 3 until it was 1. I have no idea what it might have been in the past, because I never paid attention to it before this year.
My subscription of 3 has shipped with tracking number provided. I had a subscription for 3 since 2024 I believe. It appears they may have grandfathered in those with 3 maybe. I doubt we will get an answer from the Mint on the issue. Pure speculation but as plausible as any opinion posted here!

Thanks for the kind words. But, no, it wouldn't make them look bad.
In the past, they ALWAYS conformed order fulfillment to HHLs in effect at the time the order was processed. What they are doing now is new.
Whether or not it is intentional is a big TBD. But the fact that they also allowed people with subscriptions to buy another one today suggests, as @jmlanzaf already noted, that there is some glitch in their system that is preventing subscriptions from being bumped up against the HHL before being processed.

Correct. And it would be a reasonable explanation, to reward loyal, long time subscribers, as opposed to those who came to the product at the 11th hour, after the buzz about it being the only Philadelphia proof.
The alternative point, as @jmlanzaf first noted, is that they also allowed those with subscriptions to place an order today. That never happened in the past, and suggests that processing 3 on the subscriptions was unintentional, and a result of them not bumping subscriptions against the HHL. Because, even if grandfathering people into 3 on the subscriptions was intentional, they should not have been allowed to buy any more today while a HHL of 1 is in place.

They still have the waiting room up over an hour and a half after the start date. Do they only have the bandwidth for a couple hundred people?
The old system was much fairer than this as everyone had a chance to get in and at least see the product. Now the mint locks out 99% of everyone without even a peak of it. Still a 22 minute wait period.
8300 coins in 15 minutes is 553 a minute. Amazon can do all the coins in a minute or less. No wait room.

Thanks for allowing me to live rent free in your head.

You have a history of pushing out theories and assumptions and turning them into facts(in your mind) with regard to how the Mint operates, then you repeat your theories & Mint Bashing over & over, all while being rude and demeaning to those with a differing opinion.
It's not a good look for you (in my mind).
Once in a while you need a dose of reality or humility to temper your ego. Good day!
