I only have a few like slabbed cool coins, but I know people have been collecting for decades so I just want to see everybody's massive collections

There are definitely some heavy hitters among us. I am sure someone will post some 5,6 &7 figure coins.

I consider myself a mid level collector. Many people here have better collections than this, but here goes:

    https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1117044/complete-1890-mint-set/p1

That is a really awesome set! I really wish I could afford double eagles--or US gold in general. Maybe in the future 🤔

Peruse the Registry Set pages. Most have photos. Most owners are members on these boards.

This is what I was going to recommend. Here is the link: https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/showcase-categories/105

Don't care. It's not a competition for me. YMMV, of course.

I don't even want "the best", whatever that means.

He has in the past. I have been on a hiatus until recently so I don’t know how active he is. David Lawrence, his agent, is definitely a member too.

Yeah, be careful what you ask for. 😂 There are world class collectors swimming amongst us minnows around here.

@cameonut2011 . I'm afraid David Lawrence passed away many years ago. I had the honor of dealing with him a few times. i'm a nobody in fly over country but that is not how he treated me. Perhaps you just were referring to the company he founded. James

Mine aren’t the highest grade, they are all circulated, but they made #1 in the registry at NCG for circulated type sets before and #2 at PCGS for Everyman set. Oh, and #1 at Great Collections for their Circulated Type registry sets.

Here’s a group shot. Ignore the 4 at the beginning and end, those are just your make the picture come out symmetrical.

Yes, I’ll keep my word, and will mail you that $5 I promised you (lol).

Thanks for your super kind comment, and like most of us, we each get pleasure from this wonderful hobby and our collections, regardless of value. However, I’m not in the same league as any of the names previously mentioned, but I appreciate your compliment.

    Thanks.

I have a nice collection. Some people think I am "a whale," a heavy hitter, but I am only a dolphin. I have seen the collections the whales have, and I am not in their class.

What is a whale? Someone who has 1M plus spent on their collection (that's my definition). So, Bill, you are a whale!

You are right about the first part, but when you have seen what guys like Simson had and TDN, I am not in their class.
