here's hoping for another semi like the one last night

let's say Indiana plays as well as they did against Alabama, and Oregon plays as well as they did against Tech

what does that score look like ?

    45-42.

Not my prediction, just an answer to the question above.

Oh, I think it’s worth mentioning that the SEC has been rejected from the Natty yet again. Time to change the narrative. It was a good ride and lasted for awhile, but the Fat Lady has sung!!

btw was i the only one wondering if Chris Fowler snorted a line before the game ?

in addition to these, when Ole Miss was down 17-16 and about to house one, Fowler said they could go up 8 with a TD

i was about to enroll myself in a remedial math class

ESPN pimps the product that they're invested in. So even if they go 0 - 14 in bowl games, they're still going to claim sec rules.

Not to criticize ESPN, because I think the overall camera coverage of the games has been good, but the announcers for most games covered by that network suck canal water.

So were really doinbg this again. So let me get this straight the SEC sucks because the bracket was set where they had to cannibalize themselves meanwhile this is the first game the B!G has to play each other.

Further more Miami beat OSU by 10 and Ole Miss by 4. So if Miami sucks and Ole Miss sucks then that means OSU the second best team in the B!G sucks even more. The SEC PTSD is crazy

It's a proven fact that the ESPN and the CFP are owned by the SEC. The SEC is terrible yet they keep telling us on instagram that they're this power-CONFERENCE. What a hoot! Let me tell you what! They are not. Notre Dame had better wins than the SEC and the ACC and they aren't even allowed to participate in the party at the end of the year because the SEC thinks they are so good. You're nuts! I don't know where you get your news from but I think you should look at the Bowl record and before you tell me Bowls aren't important, eat some friggin' fiber because that's fake news.

ND had better wins than the SEC lol thats insane. They lost to the two real teams they played with Miami and A&M. Not sure how many times that has to be pointed out over and over and over again.

Like I said PTSD from the SEC. The SEC had one person on the playoff committee and if you cant figure out how non playoff games opt outs matter than I dunno how to help you.

@Basebal21, you poor self-pitying man. Why on earth do you feel so put upon?? The bracket wasn’t set up like that, it was unavoidable since 5 of the 12 teams were from one conference. It was mathematically impossible for them NOT to play each other. As a matter of fact, it was so stacked with SEC teams that the odds were in their favor to get at least one team to the Natty.

So just stop. Watch this great game tonight and then cry yourself to sleep, but please stop whining. The SEC is good but they just aren’t the best anymore. A tough, bitter pill to swallow but it must be done.

    Let’s enjoy this game!!

Almost half the playoff teams were SEC, yet all of them failed to make the Championship game. Bama got drilled by 35 points. 4-10 bowl record.

Another embarrassing year for that conference.

The main issue with the CFP is that the SECfp has Indiana playing Oregon in the semis and that’s only because a Disney needs to sell more tickets for Pirates of the Caribbean or something unless the SEC can win a bowl game by closing out the 10th we’re never going to have Ohio State in the Championship because there’s just favoritism and if you don’t believe me check the Strength of Schedule rhetoric about how the SEC is so good but they can’t win any games because they’re not all that good this year and they never were as it’s just a new environment with ESecPN selling us a lie and why is Gameday always tweeting these creepy posts about how much they love the SEC. Boy oh boy get a room because that’s wild.

Keep having the temper tantrum and ignoring facts and just attack me it cracks me up. Bama and OU played in the first round and Ole Miss and GA had to play in the second round which was going to happen. Thats setting it up for them to have to cannibalize themselves meanwhile no B!G team would have to play another one until the semis

Miami beat OSU and the squad is lashing out now which is funny because all it does is demean OSU and the B!G

Tonight isn't like eating a piece of Humble Pie for the SEC, it's like being strapped into a high-chair and force fed the entire pie!!
--- The Big 10, the SEC's biggest rival Conference, is holding a playoff for the Natty in the SEC's host stadium for their Conference Championship, and it's all hosted on their Network, ESPN. That couldn't have been planned any better.

All I can say is that Indiana looks like an unstoppable MONSTER tonight.

Miami gave up 27 points to Mississippi. Bain did nothing all night. Isidor didn't do much more. now they are upgrading to a professional college team. in addition, they are banged up.

Moore looked pedestrian because Indiana made him look that way..........from the jump. if he's playing anyone other than Indiana, he completes that first pass. but because he was playing the best team into country, it was 0-7 before he could blink.

they will not be able to move the ball on Indiana the way they did against Mississippi. Carson Beck is not Vinny Testaverde reincarnated.

the Canes' only chance is if the Hoosiers turn the ball over repeatedly. only one problem: they don't do that. they lost a fumble in the first quarter in the first game of the season against Old Dominion, and they haven't done it since.

again, if the team we saw play against Bama & the Ducks shows up a week from Monday, no chance

Toney or however its spelled is one of the best WRs in the country even as a freshman thats even thrown multiple TDs

I think Miami can harass Mendoza and hurry his throws but they probably don’t have enough offense to keep up with Indiana. If the Canes can play error free, no turnovers, no penalties and no major mistakes, it can be a close and competitive game.

The most pressure will be on Carson Beck and the Miami DB’s. Beck might end up running for his life.

    To the Rose Bowl discussion:
That was traditionally a game played between the PAC 10 and BIG 10 Champions that dates back to post WWII. For the BIG 10, a team couldn’t play in consecutive years.

To that base bal guy: save us all some bandwidth and stop with the SEC defense. I’m sure they will adjust to the changing dynamics we know as College Football, but right now they are a step behind.

Are you okay? That response is completely unhinged

The Rose bowl guaranteed a Pac 12 team when they were considered a power conference a spot before they moved into playoff rotation

Interesting that you mentioned unhinged because that’s what SEC fans are now that the SEC hasn’t had a team in the Natty for the longest stretch in history of the planet ever. I don’t know why you’re talking about the Rose Bowl when even Wisconsin has a better all-time winning percentage than Ole Miss the Championship. SEC more like CRAP. Geez. Playoff rotation. I don’t know why you think SOS and SOR are so important but then all the SEC teams are vaulted up in the rankings but they’re terrible. WORST conference in football. LOSERS. Can’t even win the big game.

You brought up the Rose Bowl........

Pretty sure I never brought up the Rose Bowl. That’s fake news. I wouldn’t ever talk about the LAME Rose Bowl in the failing state of California. It’s PATHETIC and LAME. I think there should be an investigation into why it’s even called the Rose Bowl. Why you keep bringing it up is a SEC conspiracy and LIES. God Bless the B1G!
