Most represented Year in your collection...
Inspired by a recent thread... "1909 Rattler Lane"... and some of my more recent purchases... it occurred to me that the year 1837 is probably the most represented year in my entire collection. This is largely due to my shift in collecting to Hard Times tokens and the economic and political events of the times... super interesting stuff if you're into the history. Here are a few of my "1837's"... what is YOUR most common year:

Easy ... 1827. I have a whole box full! Although as a CBH Collector, with 49 different Die Marriages for the date, there is no lack of material to hunt without duplicating anything other than the date.
Oh ... images. Yeah. Well, this girl is the definitely the Queen of that box!!

I guess I too would be in that early period when the Mint was first converting to steam. If forced to pick I would go with 1838 but that is only because of how many different Seated Dimes I have for that year. I would prefer to look at it more as an era than a single date, in which case I have a dozen and a half coins from the 1836 thru 1840 time period.
1876...thought it would be closer with 1877 but 76 has a pretty decent lead.

I seem to like this and 1827

1793 x 2 (Chain, Wreath)
1839 x 3 (Silly, Booby, and 1839/6)
1858 x 2 (LL and SL proof FE cents)
1909 x 3 (VDB and 2 1909 (P) MPLs)
Edited to add:
I completely forgot about:
1. My pair of 1814 cents
2. The fact that most of my set of MPLs is duplicated, so pairs of 1910’s, 1911’s, 1912’s, 1913’s and because I own a 1914-s in 66RB that makes 3 1914’s

I have 28 different 1801 Large Cents. There are a lot of interesting varieties for that year.
Smitten with DBLCs.
Most likely 1847

That would be 1834 for me. I have:
1 Classic Head $2.50
5 Classic Head $5's
4 Capped Bust Half Dollars

An interesting question that I'd never considered, but in checking my list of inventory, it's an 8-way tie. I have 4 coins each from 1875, 1904, 1914, 1915, 1935, 1940, 1943, and 1964. Here's one of them:

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Probably 1837 mainly because of hard times tokens. Else, 1873 because of proof and type sets.
1842- A challenging year for $5.00! One can even get a Charlotte and a Dahlonega (in varieties),
plus large letter and small letter Philly issues. Maybe some day?

Besides having an uncirculated Morgan 1879-S and Peace 1924 P rolls, the most represented date would be 1921 from my complete Morgan, Peace & WLH collection.
Mine is 2008 for coins only, if you include paper money it changes to 1996.
As a type collector (meaning tons of random dates) who also has a lot of toned Morgans, without checking I'd guess 1880 or 1881. If you count paper, probably 1776.
1909 - DDR - as seen here: https://pcgs.com/setregistry/collectors-showcase/varieties/1909-doubled-die-reverse-cents/16882
1787 without question, I'd have to count to be sure but I'm sure it's around 70 or so. Connecticut coppers have been my main focus for a while and the 1787 date dwarfs the others in that series. Add to that quite a few Fugios, New Jerseys, Machin's Mills, and a Massachusetts or two.
1855.
Second place: 1840.
Easy to answer that one - 1787 because it is the year the constitution was written. My favorite is my Fugio but this is my most recent purchase. I bought it recently at Stacks because it has so much character resulting from the minting issues that were common in that era.
Probably 1982. I think I've got 10 original bank rolls of 1982-D cents tucked away.
Besides that, I've got 3/5ths of the 1941 proof set, likely a roll or two of 1941 wheat cents, a handful of nickels, and the quarters. There's also a handful of mostly uninteresting darkside stuff that I've accumulated.
Here's the proof cent and dime. 63RB and 65 respectively:
By technicality, 1964 since I have 159 Canadian cents from a small hoard. By my heart, 1891, for the set I've been building.

Fun question! I was surprised to learn that for me, the year is 1883 because of the Hawaiian coin series, the first year issue of the Liberty nickels, and the Morgan dollars. Going in, I thought it would be 1853 since I created a year set of those, but 1883 eeked it out.
1895 If you dont count modern crap.
69 AD, a time of civil war in the Roman Empire, was "The Year of Four Emperors", with the middle two each ruling for only a few short months during that year.
Roman Empire: ca. 68-69 AD silver denarius of Galba

Roman Empire: 69 AD silver denarius of Otho

Roman Empire: 69 AD silver denarius of Vitellius

Roman Empire: ca. 80-81 AD silver denarius of Vespasian; commemorative issue struck by Titus

(OK, this particular one wasn't struck in 69 AD, but Vespasian began his reign in that year.)

My collection is quite eclectic and varied, so I don't have a lot of date duplication.
But by random chance, I have four coins from 1927.
Australia: 1927 silver florin of George V, Canberra Parliament House commemorative, Melbourne mint

Germany (Weimar Republic): 1927-A silver 3-reichsmark, Bremerhaven commemorative

Germany (Weimar Republic), 1927-A silver 5 marks, Oak Tree type

United States: 1927 gold Saint-Gaudens double eagle ($20.00)

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
Before I recently traded away that Barber half, I had three coins from 1915.

For me it’s 1863 by a wide margin due to the array of CWT in my collection.
Well, in Capped Bust half dimes, 1829 is the year with the most LM marriages. There are 18, and five of those have 1 or 2 more remarriages.

However, 1832 has a lot of interesting things going on so I have picked up more 1832s than any of the other 8 years in that series. Here's an 1832 LM-10.4 which doesn't have pristine surfaces but is still pretty groovy.

My hobby website Groovycoins.com, new and improved!
I guess right now it would be 1922.......

I know quality slabbed coins is the point of interest here but it did occur to me with the mention of "raw" coins; somewhere around here I have 3 or 4 rolls of 1985-D lincoln memorial cents.
Why did you crack them out? Aren't they worth more slabbed?
