Well, in the big picture Texas A&M should never have let the game get away like that. It's to their credit that they came back, but against the better teams that they'll face in the playoffs something like that means elimination

I'm questioning whether anyone in this chat was actually watching the game...
I started watching when it was the start of the 3rd quarter after a friend dropped a bomb on SC
Not good
I certainly don't want to see anyone get burned on a SC bet. I saw galaxy's post and I thought about posting "college football... 2nd half... you never know.". But I didn't because what the hell do I know. I thought maybe they had a 30% shot at coming back. Here we are and they're driving again up 31-30. I'm rooting for SC to pull this one out somehow, but they look like their girlfriends all dumped them at half...

Yep
3rd and goal from the 1 and A&M calling a play that mimicked them being high
Hopefully for Galaxy's sake they can get down field for a game winning FG

Great, great comback but I can't see them getting past the 1st round.
I would have liked to see them put the game away on offense there when they had the ball at SC's goal, but they got it done. I don't know if this means they will have trouble in the 1st round yet though - depends on how things shake out from here. I think we'll have to look at the Bama game, but I don't see the CFP moving A&M down only because they remain undefeated. Their barely-win helps simplify the thoughts around who deserves #2 right now in the CFP rankings.

Oklahoma is not having their way with Bama. Bama threw a pick 6 and their kicker has been trash. Its still a 3 point game at half time
Agreed but I'm holding my breath every time a Bama ball carrier gets tackle

They just look.out of sync
Simpsons missed a few passes and the Williams fumble doing to much on the return wasnt great. With how their kicker reacted after that last miss Id be considering making a change especially since hes not great to begin with
Make excuses as you choose, but Alabama has been like that all season, 3-wins by a total of 13 points. You can talk all the Strength of Schedule and Strength of Record you want to but Alabama has struggled for most of the season. Very inconsistent from game to game. This has been the tale of the SEC this year, a lot of teams ranked high but nobody really standing out as dominant.

So Bama who now has the lead is struggling because you have to play 4 quarters but Michigan struggling all game doesnt matter, Indiana struggling all game against PSU doesnt matter? Could have many more examples. At least be consistent or watch the games

Blah, blah, blah.....................You're really ridiculous, are you butt hurt cause Alabama lost?? They did what I've been saying all along and what you thought after they were owned in the 1st game this year. Yeah, today they struggled and ultimately lost.
Another pretender, they'll probably slide to 8-9 now but as long as Georgia doesn't lose they'll still play in the conference championship game but that's hard to figure. Gonna be probably four 2-loss teams. What's the SEC tie-breaker like??

I dont care they lost. Thats just an analytical point for the season. Theres no analytics or eye test that says OU had their way with them other than some turnovers from a very good OU defense and a missed kicked from an okay Bama kicker.
Only thing I care about is actually real analysis talking sports.
Bama has 1 conference loss, A%M has 0 conference losses. Bama beat Georgia. Ole Miss and Texas could get themselves in there if they win out and Texas plays Georgia tonight
Still waiting to hear the take on Michigan and SoCal struggling a full game
Michigan and Bama had similar games but only one of them was playing Northwestern today.
We should be talking about how good Texas Tech looked against the Big 12's version of Northwestern. Georgia looks like they are going to move up to 4 and I expect TT to also move ahead of Bama.

This is laughable, you make stuff up and change what you're talking about when you get caught in BS. If you'd stop acting like a know-it-all expert you might be fun to engage with.

That was one of the funniest scores of the day when it was 38-2 Wish it ended that way just for the humor.
TT having Rodriquez score a TD too in a year where no QB has really separated themselves for the Heisman is interesting

Why do you guys care about Michigan?? I only care about them one day out of the year, that's in two weeks.
I don't really. I think Underwood will be a good QB. He made some bad mistakes today. You brought Michigan up regarding saving their season. You made those comments about #4 Bama struggling with #11 OU. Ranked Michigan and Ranked USC both did have trouble today.
I'm glad Bama lost but I don't think they're a bad team. Simpson was bad and OU made some big plays.

If OSU destroys Indiana is it Sayin or Mendoza? I don't think the best player wins it this year.
Michigan has struggled on the road all year. I knew NW would play them tough at Wrigley field. Very fortunate to come away with a win and keep their playoff hopes alive. No one is surprised the USC game was close. All of Iowa's losses including Oregon and Indiana were close. South Carolina deserves the choke of the week award.
Luckily for Alabama their cupcake week is next week so they can pad their win total.

I could see either of them this year but if Mendoza cant do anything against OSU thats tough.
I dont see anyone that has really separated themselves this year for it but QBs get the edge every time. I like Rodriguez the most right now

We're not going to prom. That's for sure.
Oops, your right!! They came all the way back which is pretty amazing. Beamer must not have given much of a pep talk at halftime.

It was a cool play until I saw the guy whiff on the catch. Totally agree though that that should have been an inside run there.
What a haul to keep the dream alive!
HUGE Play!!!!
Trick plays on the 1 are a weird decision. Keep the ball in the hands of your QB or hand it off again

Michigan saves their season with a last second FG to beat Northwestern. Still remains to be seen if USC can get past Iowa.

Simpson is having a crap game. Turnovers are the difference.
Bama has played some close games - also had 5 of the last 6 against ranked opponents. OU stacks up good against Bama. It's a good game.
They keep having those turnovers deep in their own zone too. OUs offense hasnt done much but that defense is nasty
Fire AJ Preller
Simpson and their kicker were trash but these are the game DeBoer teams lose. OU defense is nasty. Both teams still very much alive.
GT in a very good spot now as well

Seems like every year Oklahoma has their way with Bama.
