Sean Payton is probably my least favorite NFL current head coach - maybe of all-time. Even their throwback unis are tainted by "butthole eyes" - which is his nickname by Vikings fans from the 2009 Bounty Gate - or is it his mouth? He's got that punchable pooch.

Josh Allen carved up the Chiefs but still a close game
You know these teams will more than likely meet in the playoffs again
If they do, will the Bills fold again when it really counts?
Since McDermott is the man I'd say it's very likely but sooner or later the Bills got to beat KC in the playoffs - I think
it took awhile, but eventually Manning beat Brady in the playoffs.
I actually remember that game like it was yesterday, it was the 2007 AFCCG and NE had an early 21-3 lead before Indy ultimately came back and won 38-34. Brady was throwing to Troy Brown, Reche Caldwell & Jabar Gaffney and he had an INT on his final drive that sealed the Colts win.
That loss for NE was the precursor to BB going out and adding Randy Moss, Wes Welker & Donte Stallworth that offseason.
I’m pretty sure that was Manning’s 3rd meeting with Brady in the playoffs and he beat the Bears in the SB the following week.
isnt that the game where kevin faulk was stopped 1 yard short on a 4th and 2 to ice the game?

How has Washington not fired their coach for keeping Daniels in during the 4th down 31 points where he suffered a serious injury.? That game was over
Completely stupid move by him, another thing Daniels couldn't find any open receivers and was forced to scramble too many times and was going to get drilled
Just another example of coaches being completely stupid, some of the decisions they make are beyond explainable

IIRC 4th&2 was a regular season game a few seasons later when Brady had just come back from his ACL injury. That was the season where Ray Rice’s Ravens steamrolled the Pats on Wild Card weekend.
That 4th&2 call is still one of the craziest WTF moments that I can remember here, BB had zero confidence in his defense being able to stop Peyton Manning.
Edit: I just checked and that 4th&2 season was when Indy started that season 14-0. They played NE about midway thru that stretch.

Washington costing another career like Robert Griffin.
Robert Griffin’s career was ruined by a stupid coach who left him in a play-off game when his knee was so bad that he could barely stand. I wasn’t watching the game, but it seemed like this just happened.
You don’t throw away a very promising player’s career for one game, not even a playoff game. Going back many years, Bobby Ore comes to mind.

Jayden Daniels will more than likely be a carbon copy of RG3, Daniels at 6'4 and 210 is a glaring problem for the type of game he wants to play, bottom line the kid is straight up too skinny

That's a really good deal for the NY Jets. It's kind of amusing a guy with 3 career INTs is so highly touted.
Outside of a new owner, they should try to build their team wiht the front lines back. Just forget about drafting more QBs.
The Jets also gave up DT Quinnen Williams for a 2026 2nd and 2027 1st from the Cowboys. Loading up on picks! Makes sens - just need to find the right person to draft and get some serious luck.

Thats a good comparison in that both of them never should have been on the field at the time they got when they came back from injuries. I dont think RG3 would have lasted that long as he was more of a runner than a thrower but Shanahan rushed him back and now the geniuses did the same leaving Daniels in.
At least for Daniels it was his non throwing arm and not a throwing arm or knee injury
Tarkenton never left a game because they were losing. He would bowl you over... spike the ball of your head... fight your whole team... get ejected... play next week. Rub some dirt on it Danielle.

that guy has lost it. I really wonder about CTE with him. He took a tremendous hit going across the middle when he was in Pittsburg that knocked him out cold.
Here is a weird coincidence that I never knew about. For the Minnesota - Baltimore series, there are some big implications for Sunday's game:
• when Minnesota wins, they've made it to the NFC championship that season
• when Minnesota loses, they've fired the head coach after that season
Denver squeaks by the Raiders, I liked them for the NFC West division but I don't trust Bo Nix at all, he hasn't elevated his game at all, imo he has regressed

Doesn't surprise me one bit, I was telling my buddy that Buffalo will look like a Super Bowl contender one week then get beat by Miami the next, they should be ashamed of themselves honestly, the only thing I'll say in their favor is the Pats at the height of their run had trouble down there but they were not trailing a second year QB led team in the division either
And the Browns yet again figure out a new way to lose, another game where the stat sheet doesn't match the outcome. But that's the Browns. Try to figure how often there's a kick-off returned for a TD in the NFL. Try to figure how often there's a punt returned for a TD in the NFL. Then try to figure how often there's a kick-off and punt each returned for a TD by the same team in the same game in the NFL!!!
The only thing that makes me smile about the day's results is that Buffalo lost again, embarrassingly to the Dolphins. The same Dolphins they have humiliated and mocked. Now eating the Patriots dust, I don't think the Bills biggest concern should be beating the Chiefs in the playoffs, it might be making sure they even get in as a Wild Card team. In a strange twist, the Chiefs and the Bills might end up in a fight for the 3rd Wild Card spot.
Who would have thought that might be possible.

Watching Aaron Rogers tonight, I see old Tom Brady again. A once very good to great quarterback who is over the hill who is insistent upon continuing to play.
