Storry that stills makes me sad almost 50 years later:
When I was in high school, I lived in a smaller town and worked after school in one of the local coin shops. In those days lots of shops kept a coffee pot going and had chairs, they became a place that local collectors would gather and talk coins.
A recently retired guy with an amazing coin and gun collection moved to our town, and he and i became friends. I spent a lot of Sundays at his house eating ice cream and talking coins. When he had his house built it included a secret room where he kept his collection. The year i went away to college, a couple of scumbags showed up at his house tied both he and his wife up and stole both his coin and gun collections. He still nice and helpful and had a lot knowledge, but he was never the same, It was like they took part of his life that he knew he could never get back. Not in 3 words but that is my collecting story taht still makes me sad after all these years.

You guys that "Can't Find It" must have massive collections or inventories. Not sure if that's a good or bad problem to have.
