Never thought I’d have one of these (too cheap to pay up for one). But found it in the wild today at a flea market in great shape.
I have five or six rattlers but now I’ll need to fill it up. Can anyone tell me if clam shell holders were shipped in these or just gen1 holders?

That is a Gen 3.1 holder (it has the copywrite statement on the reverse). A 3.0 would not have that. I will be looking for coins just like yours as I try to build the set of holders. A little disappointed when the US Navy and the Superman coins came back at a 68 & a 69. I had to send them to CACG in sealed boxes but don't see what caused them to be graded as a 69 & 68. At least the Morgan & Peace were graded 70. Overall feel good. 🫠🙂🙃

I just think this a wonderful design and decidedly rare in uncirculated, and of course a wonderful gold coin:
I think it undergraded but must admit to having another specimen of this from 6 years ago and even a large size gold essai version of the silver crown of the dame design with about 3.5 x the size and gold content and original mintage of 12.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960)

95% sure this is a VAM 20... PUP's are not as vivid in this grade.
Was a time this is all I sought. Have not looked in months, and haven't found one in years.
This is number 8 for me. My lowest grade.
Not a huge score after fees but cool find in this grade.
