On September 6th this popped up on my shopping radar.
No COA but has nice sigma metal content image, tester likely not included.
Sigma is like $2,000 last time I looked. Started looking a decade~ish ago and was a $20,000 outlay.
Very nice it works thru plastic, even generic plastic.
I am not a buyer of this 1848 CAL however you might be.
Today my Lincoln Cent replacement album arrived.I took the last page 1952-S thru 1958 page and added the coins I had available plus the 1958-D DDO & 1958-D Memorial cents by the Moonlight Mint

Have always liked the 1848 CAL coin....
Well, just Love coins, period.
Can’t tell if I have one of the first 15 (flatter edge)⁉️ The reverse side (proof),
doesn’t really have an edge at all⁉️
$4,010

$5,000 - at the time of purchase gold was $1,230/oz and the issue price was $4,500. I remember being scoffed at for overpaying for 'bullion'.

The day that Gold crosses $4000 is the day that the intrinsic value of this becomes double the face value.
It's all about what the people want...

Hey !
Is it just me or are all the images here compressed, squished from top to bottom ?
All are smaller and oval shaped.
Thanks !
Sure enough. And it's not just this thread.
How about this one?

My guess: To save space and load faster, high-resolution photos are now automatically reduced in size.
Unfortunately, it appears the aspect ratio is, um, adversely affected.
Anyway, I'm guessing it's a glitch that'll be corrected soon.

This is my favorite, and a set everyone should own.
Posted images for me on this site are still small, compressed & goofy egg shaped.
