    Oh No !

I guess I got scammed years ago, Boo !

Not an authentic Carr 25 AMEROS struck in real silver as a cameo proof ?

    Bummer.

I also asked the seller to remove my name from the title and description. No reply yet.

Looks like a Very Nice 2019D SBA overstrike @HalfDime !

Here's a couple more 2019D struck over SBA.

I really liked Dan's 50th anniversary design as I seem to have a few, except for 25c issue.
I recently brought the Carr Art home to organize as sometimes I acquire a new goodie only to find I already have it.

Which is better than thinking I own something I cannot find.

I misplaced an appealing error 1c prior to my 1999 move & I still occasionally look for it.
Shot film images of both sides and poof, disappeared.

That offcenter "test strike" is awesome!
    .
I am fond of Dan's Apollo concept dollars as well.
Personally, the 2019 Ike o/s versions that fit nicely into my "expanded" Ike collection, with Dan's Apollo concept complimenting the Ike Dollar reverse incorporating Apollo concepts.
Also, don't forget that if you are collecting these Apollo concept o/s, consider also a) the 2019 Moonlight Mint open house tokens, as well as b) the 2001-D and 2009-D concept dollar versions (the 2009-D bimetallic is stunning).

The off center test strike is actually a very low pressure doubled restruck 2019 MMOH I came across on flea bay couple years ago. I don't have anything else like it from Loveland.

The Slabbed one is the 1 of 32 minted, another flea bay, yea !
I paid more for the MMOH due to auction format.

Does anyone else wish Dan would do some more of the unusual denominations like 20 cent….half dimes….both kinds of 3 cent pieces…..and for my “last 2 cents worth “ ….. I’d love to see some shield nickels‼️

    ps - @dcarr

Might you consider a 1878-CC fantasy Morgan obverse and Trade $ reverse, as a companion to the Trade $ obv, and Morgan rev.?

Those are all on the list of things to do.

    .

That's exciting news. Maybe a 1870 CC half dime? Or, CC trime?

An 1874-CC 3-cent silver piece is already on the list to do at some point. I do hope to eventually fill all the holes in a type set.

5 Carr Dollars with correct 13 State reverse as flipped over copper/brass I happened upon at a local show

Just "~30" made from correct die pairing of my 4 overstrikes of:
    2 Ikes, and a Morgan & Peace.

    .

That is the "Semi-PL" reverse. It looks less proof-like because of the light "circulation" that it was subjected to.

Royal Oak Minted ? Their replicas failed to capture the original Art, for me. I did buy their thick copper nickel 1856 Flying Eagle as I thought it had the Art, but that was one & done.

Yes, minted by Royal Oak Mint. Sculpting by Heidi Wastweet (who is pretty well known in medallic art circles).

    @dcarr

Are these two sculpted by Heidi Wastweet too ?

I spaced out Fred Weinberg gifted me the pair after he announced his retirement.
One day they showed up in the mail.

I assume the silver errors were also Royal Oak Mint made too ?

Frank Gasparro's sculpted silver obverse die strike from 1969 for comparision .

A 2013-D CG $5 gold coin sold for $711, ungraded. It's the first in the series and unique in that it was 9 grams .825 fine Native Colorado Gold, subsequent issues are $500 1/4 oz .999 fine Colorado Gold.

$711 seems like a good deal considering melt is somewhere around $900.

Issue price was $450 and gold was around $1,396/oz.

I saw that. I think the seller would have done a lot better on the sale if they had listed the total weight of the coin.
Bidders were likely uncertain of the net gold content (it was very close to 1/4 troy oz).
