I have a LOT that meet that criteria, unfortunately, but this one sprung to mind.
A couple years ago an older dealer set up at our local show that I hadn’t seen before. His story was he’d retired years ago, and only set up hoping to self off various odds and ends he still had left. As a (US) large cent guy, this one caught my eye. I think I got it for around $45-50, a bargain for high grade early copper vs US issues:
Found in a change purse from my Grandmother's place after she passed... The Kenefics immigrated to the US from Ireland in 1845. If this piece could talk!
Now that I have a dedicated macro lens, I'll have to dig this out to reimage...
Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;
CACG 1944-D MS67 WLH -- great series, but just not one I really ever got into collecting. This was purchased raw along with several other cherrypicked items from someone's inherited collection about 2 years ago, later submitted to CACG.
That same little collection also had this stunner of a WLH in there too, though I eventually sold it at a Long Beach show: CACG 1945-S MS65+ WLH
I wouldn't attempt a comprehensive collection of So-called dollars, but there are some that have such beautiful designs or toning that I find them irresistible
Damn, I have lots of series I dont collect. But I dont have pictures of anything I havent yet collected. But here are "medal" that are not part of a series that I know of:

Assembling a killer type set all focused on eye appealing coins rather than numerical grades.
Here’s my latest win from GC. While not a Buffalo nickel collector, I’m over the moon with this one
The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin

Though designed by AA Weinman I always liked Walkers better. But I couldn’t resist the 16 S in OGH and the 1945 premium gem only cost me $30.

I don't collect Commemoratives, per se, although I have picked up a few over the years. Still one of my favorites.

I won them in an auction and don't have a clue how to proceed..
Purchased upon restarting my collecting again and I liked the toning. I don't collect half dimes.

Purchased because I wanted one for my collection. I'm not interested in collecting the series.

At my age they’re to hard to see or hold.
As a type collector, that would be most of my collection.
But I will say, I typically steer clear of cleaned or altered coins, however, I made an exception for this one:
