OK. I don’t know anything about some of the coins posted here either, but I’ll still try & make a guess. In some instances I’ve learned something. If I don’t have any idea I’ll pass.
But in the interest of keeping the thread going & “fun” for all, here’s the coin:
There were some good guesses. I don’t have a pic, but the rev is actually rotated 170 degrees.
I’ll post another one:
I hope this one’s a better fit. But since I’m stubborn, a bit more than a grade guess is required. And I’m not referring to stickers.
@Torey: thanks for checking in! JMO, other than a little confusion about the 24 hrs, it seems to be going well! Sometimes, members get a little busy and/or forget to answer guesses or post a new coin, but that’s minor stuff. Fun thread!
Just check the rules, and you'll see how this thread works.
You need to be "up" or "your turn" to post.
Try it, you don't have to do them all, I miss out many.
I changed my designation to weak 8/7 because I think I see the dot over the 8
For anyone unfamiliar with the Leaves reference, the large letter comes with high leaves, the variety for this year is a low leaves reverse.
For small letters they have low leaves, the variety has high leaves. Not a huge price difference for either but it’s a fun cherry pick.
The leaves in question are below the C and Tof cent (high almost touches letters, low is not close at all. High leaves are a carry over feature from 1856 and 57. *
@pcgsregistrycollector: the “winner” is you - the high leaves, while not on the label, is also correct. I no longer own this coin, but always thought it was undergraded.

Woah...I wasn't expecting to get that one right, but thanks! Here's a new coin.
Ooh sweet. I was going to say 69, but than I remembered there were no business strike Kennedy's in 69. Very nice coin. Did you find this mint set hunting?

idk the varieties,

All guesses without the variety are incorrect. It’s not an obscure one; in fact, it’s likely known among non IHC collectors.

MS65 Large Letters and High Leaves variety
Love the thread man. Thanks for starting it.
@Copperindian didn't know what a pick ax variety was until I looked it up. Cool coin!
For my new guess, I'm going to say 64 LL and HL.

I say a 63. A nice tone but the lettering on the reverse looks a little weak. As do the front feathers.
All in all a nice coin tho.
Woah...I wasn't expecting to get that one right, but thanks! Here's a new coin.

MS65. A good all around strike, good feathering and hair. A nice cheek. The gunk on the reverse has me a little stumped tho.

None of you guys got it right. The correct grade was MS-63+.

Anyways, since its been 24 hours, heres a new coin. I would like a sticker/variety combo.
