Welcome to the forum. What do you see that you think is different than a normal nickel? I see the reverse streaks of toning but that is "a nothing burger" to the collector.

I have never seen streaks of toning like that on any coin.
This from a mint sewn bag of 1000 and other 999 were not streaked at all.
I've seen thousands. It's usually due to a foreign substance on the coin. It's not related to the striking of the coin.
As "tuition" goes, that was pretty cheap. In the future, maybe ask before you send it in.

It is not uncommon. I have seen it from mint rolls and bags. It is the wash not being removed.
