    64, primarily due to thin, but long reverse scratch in left field. The movement in the video is considerably too fast.

    I first thought higher end 64... saw the scratch on the reverse... but then got hypnotized by the video of the obverse... ;)

    It’s because I have to reduce the frame rate significantly to get the animated GIF to a file size that the forum software will accept. If you have knowledge about how to post full resolution video in a post, I am all ears.

    Barring that, I think having the video as-is is better than not having it for purposes of evaluating the coin.

    I would say MS-65+. For once the obverse is better than the reverse. If the reverse rules, you could go as low as MS-64 because there is a significant mark on the eagle's back, and there appears to be a very thin but long pin scratch running through to tops of the rays. Still I think think that the obverse will probably carry the piece.

    I believe "plus grading" at PCGS began in 2010. This holder has prongs which did not appear until 2011.

    64 here, can’t get to 65 but nice luster.

    Using a Vimeo link is the only method I’ve found that shows a video well. IG posts don’t seem to work anymore, but the Vimeo links embed into the post so viewers don’t have to venture off from the site. That said, my personal preference would be to have the higher quality video even if it means it won’t be embed here.

    55? Yikes, prob. not even a CAC grade at that level. It has the look of a 65 even with a few warts on reverse. Clearly better, at least to my eyes, than 64s and a nice strike at that. Prob. dipped in the past but not objectionably so.

    Thanks Dan. I’ll try Vimeo next time if it embeds within the post. IG used to work that way but seems to be blocked now. I don’t want to use external links as I know some forum members do not click them, and everyone should have the same information for a GTG.

    I was torn between 64 and 65, so the grade makes sense to me.
