There was probably less violence in Philadelphia this day because of the parade, than if there wasn't one. The sad fact is that in every major city throughout our country, there is violence such as this every day, and worse, and we all know it.
The parade was fantastic, and the crowd joyous and well behaved. But of course the haters won't mention that. I noticed the first with this story about the shooting that I saw on the internet was the good ol' New York Times. The NYC based rag that fails to report countless numbers of violent crime in their city each day. But felt their "duty" to quickly make this incident a headline story about the Eagles parade, not mentioning the great time that everyone else had. Quite pathetic really, but of course it's who they are.
But go ahead and post BS about a beer can, especially with all the problems in Minneapolis. The Eagles are Super Bowl champions! 🏆

Are you kidding? I'm lovin' it. I fully expected the haters to reply like this. Especially those who took a bath betting against the Eagles. It's understandable behavior when losing your money, I'd be hissed off as well. Particularly when they didn't even get a decent run for their bet.

I bought a t-shirt to commemorate the last Eagles Super Bowl and I’ll get another for their 2024 victory. The NFL doesn’t interest me like it did in the 80s, 90s, and 00s but I still do enjoy watching it from time to time. At this point though I actually prefer the condensed games. I even stopped playing fantasy football about 5 years ago.
I think the Eagles are great but I’ve been to Philly enough to know that city and in my opinion they should raze it and start over.
