I thought the game was 100% legit and fair, the Refs called a good game and I'm happy to see that both teams showed up and played and the better team TONIGHT won.
Great job Philly, the D was overwhelming
That early phantom offensive pass interference call on the Eagles, had me worried.
That being said, the rest of the game seemed to be refereed cleanly.

I would agree. there was a ticky tack call against Phi. at the beginning, then there was a make up call against KC, then it seems it was called fair. at least in my eyes.

As I said the game was played without referee Interference
For the conspiracy guys that were saying the NFL and Refs helped the Chiefs I told everyone the NFL doesn't care who wins the Super Bowl they just care who is there
Congrats on a great win! At one point I actually thought it was gonna be a big ZERO for the Chiefs.

I couldn't find a regular emoji that was good enough to describe it. 😉
It's a great feeling bro!!!
Enjoy
Maybe 20 years from now, we'll be right here on Sports Talk, debating which dynasty was better.
Belichick/Brady or Sirianni/Hurts?
😉😉
you know, some would laugh at this statement, but you really never know. for all we know, Patrick may never make it back to another SB. Hurts/Sirianni are both young enough to last another 15 years.
after that first win against the greatest show on turf, I would NEVER had dreamed what the next 20 years would hold. I was happy to just get that first one.
I thought the Philly defensive performance ranked right up there with Super Bowl 20 and what the Chicago Bears did to the New England Patriots. Ironically, both games were played in New Orleans. Against the Patriots the Bears defense was swarming, causing 4 fumbles and 2 Int's. Last night, the Chiefs gained the bulk of their offensive yardage in 4th quarter garbage time.
The nod probably goes to the Bears and if you remember that season they were far, far more entertaining!!

Oh yea, that Buddy Ryan 4-6 defense with the right players was absolutely lethal. In that Bears Super Bowl winning season, Buddy the DC had assembled all the right players.
Believe it or not, when Buddy became head coach of the Eagles, he was assembling a defense that in my opinion may have wound-up being better than that Bears defense. Long sad story short, Jerome Brown got killed in a car crash, and the Eagles owner hated Buddy, and fired him for personal reasons. So Buddy never had the opportunity to complete it.
Long forgotten story. The Eagles already had Reggie White on the team when Buddy was there. Then one off season the Giants and Lawrence Taylor were hissed at each other over something, and Buddy tried hard to get Lawrence to come to the Eagles. Can you imagine Taylor and White on the same defense?
The origin of that was supposedly Greasy Neale's schemes. Fritz Shurmur, who assembled a defense that rivaled the 1985 bears in GB got to showcase a scheme based on this. Ryan used it prolifically as well and Shurmur even referred to it as the Eagle defense. Shurmur assembled, in 96, what Ryan never got the chance to, with White, Dotson, Jones, and Mr. Gravedigger himself, Gilbert Brown. Maybe if Ryan wasn't fired Reggie wouldn't have changed free agency forever.

The parade route has not been fully determined as of yet. I’ll include an informative map and parade times right after the Super Bowl ends. So please remain patient.

Over the week before the game, all I wanted was a pick 6 of #87 to show a Big Easy.
As soon as I saw it, my phone rang. It was my daughter whom requested a Dijean jersey, a few days before the game.
Here's how it went....
See dad, he's my favorite player.
My reply was...... "good pick"
Hey dad, did you realize, he's also my age.

Cooper is a good looking kid with a bright future. No doubt about it.
Of course the entire Eagles team performed brilliantly. But if I had to pick (pun intended) one play as a defining moment, that play would be it.

I well remember when Brown was killed. terrible tragedy. I had never heard the story about Buddy trying to get Taylor. I cannot imagine what that defense would have been with him. those were the 2 best pass rusher i ever saw, with Reggie being my favorite. I wish we could have seen that.

This is close to an exact quote, if not exact, that Buddy made in jest when he was trying to get Taylor. It was in the context of basically nobody, including Buddy, thought it would really happen. The Giants weren't about to let Taylor go.

Absolutely legendary trolling of all KC fans for an entire season. Worked out.
I don't consider smack to be trolling. But you call it however you wish.
In any event, you are right that it worked out. Far better than expected. 😉
Is the city of Philly completely destroyed yet? lol

"It oughta be illegal"
John Stewart tagged Philly pretty good on last daily show.
The good news about Philly is that it can’t get any worse.
