I assumed it was uncirculated but wasn't sure if the letters on the obverse were weakly struck or worn. Perhaps it's just the photo. Either way that is one of the coolest FE cents I've seen.
Thanks. Not the photo; the strike was a little off center. You may have noticed there’s a cool clash under the eagle’s beak, making it look like it bit off more than it could chew! Plus, there’s a “pin” in the eagle’s wing. For protection - ha! It is different than the usual 1857 FE; the toning is other worldly!
