We had a cold January with a snowpack on the ground for 3 weeks in the Cincinnati area…loved it! Bring on more cold weather and snowstorms for a retired meteorologist! Only 11 more months until January again…😂

Love the cold and snow (snow depth 9 inches)...considering moving to LA Crosse, WI. I hate the heat and humidity of July and August...

Here in New Hampshire we have 2+ feet of snowpack on the ground and temps in the -5 to 0 each morning. In fact last Monday the USPS took the day off due to snow.

I left the snow and ice behind long ago. I've got a mid-day tee time tomorrow afternoon. It should be in the upper 60s tomorrow in Norcal.

so glad January is over. it has been a cold month up here in maine. between -5 and -10 every morning when i wake up. one morning a little over a week ago the actual temp at the house was -23. i dont even want to know what the wind chill was that morning.

Best of luck to my fellow collectors in the northeast and midwest to get through these cold winter temps this year. I'm in upstate New York and it has been single digits everyday but thankfully no negative temps, just negative windchills.

As a side note, January is now one of my favorite months. My little man turned 4 earlier this month. Can't wait to see what hobbies he gets into as he grows.

Not much snow there, Chris. We have 8-9 inches on the ground in SW Ohio…

    Thanx Monte.

I just looked back at the OP and responses. Sure miss a lot of those names.

I tried contacting Steve aka winpitcher but didn't get a response.
