It was a bad month for Rock and Rock Hall of Famers. First, David Bowie, then Glenn Frey, and finally Paul Kantner.
  • So sad. Incredible amount of musical textures just from the above named 3. Woodstock in Heaven is a very crowded house.

An annual thread celebrating the end of January? Ah - it's seven minutes to 2.1.17 (mountain time)! Is this the last thread comment for 2017?

Insert witicism here. [ xxx ]

Will this thread ever be explained? If January ending were just like a sigh of relief for you then saying it in your head would be equal to starting a thread, so doing it publicly says to me you want to be asked.

I think December, January and February should have 25 days each to get it over ASAP.
Then June, July and August should have 35 days each to make up for it. B)

The most boring January of my life! Triple whammy: snowy and cold here in Canada, still mostly locked down due to Covid, and I am retired. Each day is more boring than the next. Highlight last week was grocery shopping and filling the car with gas.

I was indifferent to January until January 2022 when my son was born. Now it is one of my favorite months.

hands down the best month of the year

idk what the nexus is, but anyone who was born in January can attest to this: you never cross paths with the grader of death, and you get laid a lot

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

  • My least favorite month...coming off the holidays and if you live in central Texas, the cedar pollen wipes out about 30% of the people for a month.
