1909 S VDB Authentic or Fake
Does this 1909 S vdb appear to be authentic. The weight is a little off at 3.100 grams and it doesn’t look very worn. Looks to be die pair # 4 to me.

The seller (to his/her credit) clearly states it’s a reproduction and not genuine

Not even a close call.
The rims, the softness, the overall look and the spacing between the periods in the VDB are all wrong. That's what jumps out to me first. Look how the bust just fades into the field by the date.
