If you like UK coins and Britannia's, this is one pair certificate #064 of 500. Only pop 2 and pop 6 (in this variety) PCGS coins in a Gold Shield holder. I am considering selling, but it is not a low-price version.

I never showed my other gold Britannia. The half ounce finally showed in the mail and I had the quarter ounce initially.

And then this week, I got the silver one, was holding out for a 70 but cannot find one anywhere so I settled for a 69, luckily this thing does not have any milk spots! That was my biggest fear…

And then, just by pure chance, the platinum ones came in the shop on Friday, so I grabbed one of the 1/10 ounce:
This just leaves me wanting the full ounce platinum, and I will then be satisfied with my little Britannia hoard.

It is a vintage marking device. It reads :
"MASSCO - Mine And Smelter Supply Company / Denver, Salt Lake City, El Paso, New York".

I grabbed enough aluminum cans Monday night (>2K), mostly out of one dumpster at a boat landing/campground, to purchase another Silver Eagle.
It takes 2000 cans or 60 pounds of aluminum cans to purchase a silver eagle now.
I have 6 silver eagles worth of aluminum cans sitting in the garage at the moment despite the multiple hurricane disruptions. The past two months have been good ones as I've expanded the number of sites I visit. Now I need to find the homes of some more heavy beer-drinkers to take it to the next level. They can provide $50-150 of income per household per year.

A recent purchase. Don't know much about it, except it is sort of interesting and I like the older vintage silver the most. I do see a few 1- and 10-ounce versions that sell for a premium.

Some bullion - a nice investment when purchased at $280/oz for gold and $8/oz for silver 25 years ago. This is from my girlfriend's father's estate. It was one of his better investments.

Very nice Asheland.
I picked up this really pretty 1oz. 2021 Ukrainian Mint piece a couple weeks back.Obverse: Displays the Coat of Arms of Ukraine with “National Bank of Ukraine” inscribed in Ukrainian.
Reverse: Features the Taxiarch Archangel Michael with his wings spread and his sword drawn, surrounded by a quote of T. Shevchenko's Haydamakys in Ukrainian which translates to "for us and souls of righteous men, and archistrategos Michael's strength."

I have been wanting to take a pic of one of these. I found one at the right price in is " mint capsule".
Popped it open and shot these today. think they turned out pretty decent.

I got both of these this week… I love the five dollar even though I’m getting rid of a slightly higher grade one I just like the look of this one better for some reason, and I also finished up my 2023 Morgan and peace set finally finding the Morgan in proof…

Found yesterday!
I’ve been looking for a nice 50 ounce Johnson Matthey for quite a while now!Very pleased with this one…
So I now have, in poured:

10 ounce
20 ounce
50 ounce
100 ounceDesperately need to find the elusive 25 ounce!
This has been a fun set to work on. I’m also doing the Engelhards.

I went to a local coin shop owned by a friend of mine, didn’t expect anything like this to be in the case! It is quite a pleasant surprise and luckily, I had just enough on me to cover it!
But yes, I agree the old JM and Engelhard bars get me every time!

I also happen to have a 1903… I consider it the most undergraded coin I’ve ever owned:
I bought it back in February 2020, paid basically retail for the grade and date, but the market was low back then… I still consider it a good deal even though I did pay strong for the date and grade.
I initially bought it just for the holder…
Somewhere I have it written down, but I believe I paid around 450?
For what it is, it’s one of my favorites, I love that generation of holder!

I agree, that holder is my favorite NGC holder as well. Love the embossed gold back!

I have a 1906QE that is NGC 66 with the green sticker, I put them side-by-side, and comparing under that format. I consider this to be a solid 65.

Hmm... they are mentioned on alengelhard.com but bars only, no rounds.. Ebay has this one that sold recently at a decent premium.. I didn't see mintage mentioned however..:

Paid pretty strong for this one, but I’ve always wanted an exceptional example of the earliest Libertads:
And recently having found the 1991 type two in my miscellaneous box, I sent them to PCGS and to my great delight I made MS 69 on it!
So I have both types from 1991, one is MS 68 and the other MS 69 those will look so awesome side-by-side!
When the type two gets back, I’ll photograph it and post it here…

Here’s a couple of pick ups that I never posted…
This one Frontier Mint, was a brand I had never heard of… Cool looking bar so I picked it up.
This one is fun because I used cashback from my new Apple Card. Every penny of the money used to buy this bar was from cashback points…
This was stuff I would have bought anyway, so this was essentially a free bar.
