FUN Show Roll Call

Now that Christmas is behind us it is time to start thinking about the largest and most important coin show of the year. The FUN show starts two weeks from today in beautiful Orlando, Florida. My mentor turned me on to the FUN show before it was a must attend show. I went to my first FUN show in 1973 in Miami and have only missed 5 shows since then. I am excited and for the first time ever at any show I have purchased an Early Bird badge.
Who else is going? I can hardly wait!

Flying in Thursday morning and back out Saturday evening. One of the perks of both staffing a Club table and being an Exhibitor is that I get in during dealers' hours for free.

I'm going
It will be the first time in five years I’ve been to the FUN show – but no table this time!
(after having a table for 49 years in a row)
Enjoy!
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
will be flying in with the GREAT Paul.......
Driving in Wednesday and driving out Friday

Looking forward to a great show.
Driving down from Wisconsin on Monday. Going to staying in Florida for a couple of weeks and then take the scenic route home through Texas over to Vegas and then back home over the Rocky Mountains. No set route no set time schedule.
I need to look at a few lots in the FUN auctions.
I keep saying next year.
Family health issues keep me grounded and broke.

Table 339, Wed-Fri. Come say hello.
I will attend for the duration of the convention.
I am scheduled to speak at 12:45 PM on Thursday. The topic will be “The Lincoln Center, 1909 to 1940.”
Table 1006, Thurs. - Sat. Looking forward to the show.
Driving up from South Florida early Thursday morning, driving home late Friday night after dinner with coin friends.
Here’s a photo, carrying my zippered canvas red and white striped bag. If you see me, please say “hi”.

I will be flying in Wednesday and fly out Sunday morning. I got the early bird pass. It's handy to have.
I'll be staying at the Rosen Centre. A lot of coin folks hang out in the bar there each evening.
I'll be there most of that time, with a 4 night cruise on the Utopia following the show! First FUN show since 2020.

John are you sleeping at your table? I know you seem to be eating there when ever people walk up.

Will be there Wednesday through Saturday! Probably spend a good chunk of my time viewing lots and learning more how to grade.
I should be there one day. I'll say once it is determined, but it is probably Thursday.

Set up at (I think) corner booth 319 - Select Rarities. Will have the broadest offering of early US silver dollar varieties possibly ever. Always a show to look forward to.
I will be there Wednesday to Saturday.
Will be there Thursday and friday
412 & 414 We'll be there all week.
I'll be home monitoring the internet for scraps that fall between the cracks.
Or I'll be looking in places where nobody else is looking (more optimistic interpretation). There is greater opportunity when attention is focused elsewhere.
Happy hunting to everyone, wherever you are hunting.
I will be there. Save your good stuff for me
On my way.
Everyone make sure you have all your blast white ike varieties ready for @usararecoins. Ill be by later for the early gold.....

I'll be there in spirit. If you happen to be looking at a table with nice capped bust half dimes, and you feel a sudden cool chill and your neck hairs abruptly stand up, that would be me.

I’ll be there from Thursday to Saturday.

Hey Ken! I think I've ogled that coin before. An LM-1 (3/inv3 variety). Very nice! Methinks, buying one MS66 half dime might have started a dangerous precedent...

I'll be there for the first time! I was too late to get a table but I will be bringing my photography rig, if any dealers want videos made use the form below to make an appointment. I can bring the camera to your table (it only takes up 12" x 12" of table space) or we can meet wherever you're comfortable before/during/after the show. If any dealers want to share their table so I can offer the service to show-goers use the form to get in touch and we'll work something out, or do y'all think the FUN organizers would be open to letting me do a trial run and paying if I actually make any money, instead of getting a table having a cart I could go table to table with since dealers are my primary market? Are there any tables offering photography services I'd be competing with?
edit - link removed, I won't be able to make it, got a cold or something

I'll have my photo stuff set up at table 806, but not for videos.

Only one week to go. The weather forecast calls for highs in the 50's and low in the 40's, so bring a coat.
Going. I’d like to visit table 806 for coin photography…
The weather at FUN is always about 35-40° warmer than what I leave behind and return to. This year looks to be no exception.

Ditto. Il take 50 degrees than single digits.
At least it won't be as cold as one year it got down to 25 degrees early in the evening. Brought a thin coat which helped a little.

I will be there with my nephew on Thursday.
Joe.
I’ll be there! Table 1008 set up with Tipsico Coin.
Stop by and say hello!
P.S. Can anyone put me in touch with Bill Jones? I messaged him a week or so ago and have not heard from him.
Have a great show Daryl, I'll catch you at the next one
