Cross results: 3 for 3 makes for a GOOD day!

Took 10 weeks but my 3 NGC coins all crossed to PCGS: 1941S MS65 Rainbow Toned Walker, 1945D MS65 Rainbow Toned Walker, and 1954S MS67 Multi-colored Roosie. All coins crossed on the 1st try. I wish I could report my raw coin submissions were equally successful!

Good to know PCGS is not bagging anything that's toned other than a Morgan $. They have been very tough on toned coins for the last several years, and as a result, I haven't submitted anything to them in a long time.

For you Washington quarter fans, here's another one Craig didn't show you that came back in the same batch as the other three. If I remember correctly he cracked this out of an NGC 66 holder and sent it in. Came back in a 66 holder. I like it, how 'bout you?
Craig sent me some better pictures but the file was too big. Perhaps he can post them as I think they are better than the ones I posted.

I just received back a batch of Roosies from PCGS and I too got 3 to cross. 3 out of 8 though.
Funny thing is the 3 that crossed came from colorfulcoins. Heres the pics. I was in a hurry so there
not to good.

I am a bit new to this. Why do people try to cross PCGS to NGC?

Is there any chance that PCGS might expand their registry sets such that NGC coins would be accepted?

And about NGC, any chance that they might expand their (limited) number and scope of registry sets?

SageRad: for some series PCGS coins bring more money than NGC coins of the same grade. Other people sometimes buy a cheaper or more attractive NGC coin and try to cross it to PCGS so they can add it to their PCGS Registry set. I don't guess PCGS will allow NGC coins in their registry any time soon. I do expect NGC to continue to create new sets.
