New Quest - complete 50c date set - 1794 to present _ DONE

I recently purchased the 2 coins below:
1854 50C Arrows MS66
1879 50C MS67
I really liked them when I had them in hand. I have never done a 50c set so I decided to start a new quest. I have 3 goals.
I will be collecting date sets. I would like to complete the full date set from 1794 to present. I would like this set to be #1 in the registry. I would also like to have the #1 set in the Seated and Barber sets. These goals assume that Hansen retires his sets which was my reason for undertaking these goals.

Got you covered when you get to 1976:
They exist, but they are way beyond my pay grade. A dealer was offering one in 1975 for $45,000. At the time, it may have well have been $45,000,000 for me.
This is what I have now, and I don't plan on upgrading it.
I look forward to seeing your progress on this set. I think Hansen retiring his PCGS sets will allow some collectors to Pursue new sets. When Hansen was involved with every set that existed it was tough to find an area to collect that you might be number one in eventually.
His collection is great but it took the wind out of many collectors sails.

I'm doing the cent version of that, 230 coins been at it for over 10 years and at #5 with a long way to go still need 58 coins and some really tough ones

Lofty goals. Some of the finest knows for the date are in pretty strong hands. Since you are touting registry, I image top grade always wins? Are you planning on any overdates (beyond the 1815/2)? Definitely a LONG term endeavor.

I bought a number of coins in the ANA sales. I decided on the following plan:
1794-1837 Everyman set. VF for 1796 1797
Seated High Grade #1 Registry set.
Barber's High Grade #1 Registry set.
rest to 2024 fill in with low cost MS64-67
I'd better hide this coin then.
