I've just accepted that July will just be 90+ just about every day, I used to love the summer but like most things the way things used to be were far better like when 90+ days were not the norm but beautiful 80 to 85 degree days were.
The Fall is my favorite time of year, the month of October to kick off the season is unbeatable in my opinion

Decided to leave Detroit in January 1994. Was at the airport before 6 a.m. for a business trip to Chicago. Car radio said it was 20 below in the city and minus 25 in Chicago.
Said to myself, damn, I could be in Miami in three hours, why the hell am I headed to a city that was even colder.
Twelve month later I moved to Arizona.
But egads, still 100 for the next week.
