I don't have anything from 1959, but I do have my father's USN Bluejackets Manual from 1940 and a USN issued M1911A1 (Ricko's favorite sidearm)...

Not sure if everyone knows this or not but the Marine Corps is a department of the Navy........... it's called the men's department.
I told that to ricko a few years back he got a kick out of it
