Nice cards, especially the deckle, but those aren’t jumbos. They’re tallboys/oversized. Then there’s supersized, then there’s jumbo, which is usually like an 8x10

Those are supersize, not jumbo. Here’s a jumbo for comparison:

Sent in quite a few for my Bench set. Happy to get them graded (many with lower pops), but had a tough grader. The Rawlings had a pin hole, so expected the 1.

I keep trying to fight it because I don't want to pay the jumbo fees or store the jumbo slabs, but man these looks really nice!
Collecting anything and everything relating to Roger Staubach1 -
You are so right about that. Waited awhile for the special, but still stinks to pay more than twice for the holder than I paid for the raw card. Once done it is nice having it in the collection though.

For the kind of money spent to holder these, I would expect a better fit and presentation.1 -
I think I have the US version of that Sportscaster Bench, and have always loved that photo. It's maybe better than any of his cards. That's in the stack I'm planning to slab.
Yours makes me want to get it done ASAP. Such a cool one. Congrats!

If that stack includes a Ron Cey and it grades decently, I'd be interested.

Thank you, and yes I agree it is one of his better card photos. It is difficult getting all of the versions. Here is the Japan version that was also part of this submission.

you are correct , however the special was $50 for like jumbo, supersize and anything taller than a tallboy.... pricey for the supersized if you ask me

Do they grade the big cards very different. Those are great looking pictures, can't believe how low the grades are. Maybe the backs of the cards are bad.

I will inspect a little closer when they arrive back to me. The Kroger I know had a few hairline wrinkles, so did not think it would get above 5. Others are confusing to me as I thought I was pretty selective. Only going in my personal collection, so at least they are protected and I can enjoy how they look. May choose to have the Linnett reviewed eventually though.

I'll email them tommorrowThat sure does screw up the POP counts of these, as there are other players listed with the MSA Pepsi Disc w/glove label.
Your Carew is showing POP 1, none higher.
But if you look at the POP of the other label 1977 Pepsi-Cola Baseball Stars Discs, there are more graded, including 1 higher.
For your Carew:
Unless the MSA Pepsi Discs are somehow different than the Pepsi-Cola Baseball Stars Discs, the POP will never be correct, when they're using 2 different labels.
Sort of like the complete screw up of the labeling on the Wiffle Discs. It can never be fixed.1 -

All they have to do is assign this card to that slot ..even if the label is wrong

(I believe they are the same product, but I could be wrong. Maybe the backs are different? I also noticed the Brett MSA Pepsi Disc has a card # of 32, and your Carew has no card #, so that adds to the confusion.)Here is a Brett example....

All they have to do is assign this card to that slot ..even if the label is wrong
And when I say it can't be fixed, I was referring to the POP count, since each label will have a separate POP.

Of course! PSA has a lot of good tools available though they’re not always the easiest to find.
You can use that same link to request a card be added to a set, too (I think).

I like the set and wanted to put a PSA set together, but the label confusion and $75ea to grade them turned me off.Reminded me of the Wiffle discs mess, that have I think, 3 different labels, and many wrong discs under each of the labels.
4sharpcorners listed a POP 1/none higher of one I was interested in, but of course there are several others under different labels. It went for too much money of course being a so-called POP 1. You might run into it since Carew is in that set.0 -
