"Tarnish" Lovers - sometimes color is primary over strike and/or wear (1930 SLQ)

Had to make a shout out reference for ricko who we all miss dearly. :( This thread is dedicated to those collectors who like attractive color on some of their coins. This SLQ date is very common yet it has, to me, incredible eye appeal.

What coin in your collection did you acquire that you decided that the color was primary in your consideration whether to buy the coin?

I'm reserving this spot, just in case.

Pretty quarter! For some reason, few Standing Liberty quarters have nice toning. Thanks for posting it!

Like ricko, no tarnish for me. I must say though, that some of those dimes have some beautiful color.

Strike and condition is most important to me and no tarnish whenever possible.

Collect what you like and above all enjoy it.

Sorry, I'm with the late, great Ricko--blast white for me. I can appreciate a slight patina (e.g., 80 year old uncirculated nickels), and I can even enjoy a delicate rainbow on a silver dollar. But when it becomes tarnish, I don't like it.

    YMMV :)

Would you say the centers of your coin have white toning? The following has this white toning and I believe it's quite rare for a coin to have toned white.

I have other coins that I like with Toning, but those two Morgans above were mainly purchased for the Toning and or grade.
