I like both colorfully tarnished as well as the immaculately perfect pristine coins.

The 87 P is currently at the host. I’m hoping to meet the top pop or beat it for RB. It’s happened before on a 1960 LD BN, becoming a solo top pop so anything’s possible. The some of the SA proofs became either top pops or solo top pops.

Grabbed only for its color. It better have silver in it, though.

The color is what attracted me to this coin, not the counterstamp R. The date helped justify the price in my mind at least.

The color is about the only thing going for this coin, besides its mintage and straight grade.
